Congress: We Lost $1 Trillion Dollars: We Can't Find It Anywhere.

hours of debate on this bill in

committees

there have been hundreds of amendments

proposed most bad republicans

the reason we're here so late tonight is

because republicans

proposed hundreds of those amendments

today in the rules committee

amendments that had already been debated

and discussed in the various committees

this bill has had extensive discussion

and

unfortunately part of this discussion

has been a misrepresentation

of much of what it does uh we hear

constantly

this figure one trillion dollars has is

out there that has not been spent

we've tried to track that trillion

dollars down we can't find it anywhere

what we do know

is what's the money that has been

allocated and deployed

by prior measures relief measures

his what did he just say has been a sign

has been obligated there's no money

wasted

in this legislation also what we know is

that every member every adult

not every adult about 85 percent of the

adults

in every one of the speakers districts

democrat and republicans

that's going to get clipped so hard but

what he's trying to say is

we're trying to find the waste but we

can't find the waste

but he said they're saying a trillion

dollars is missing

but we can't find where it is

what is missing before for instance
