Custom Cornhole Set!

how's everybody doing I am going to be making something else today I'm going to be making a

game for the outdoors it's called cornhole or beanbag game I'm actually making this for

my sister Kelly who's going to be having a big birthday party in the next few weeks and

she asked if it was possible for me to make this I've never made anything like

this before so I thought yeah no problem no problem I'll have it ready for you by Tuesday

so I don't have a protractor so I'm measuring they hit the circle for the game it's supposed to be 9

inches off center and also 9 inches down from the top of the and by the protractor I would just find

that settle point and then measure out them and make my six inch circle I don't have a protractor

I have the top two a can of paint which is approximately six inches in diameter so I measured

to my to the outer edges of that circle not only has the can of paint so that's looking good

got my starting point for the jigsaw as a weekend warrior that doesn't have any

carpentry experience the best piece of advice I can give anybody is to just never rush through

anything never never rush through cuts or anything you're doing just take your time

and go at it slow got it at a reasonable pace that you can handle now I do a good

job cutting the circle you're going to see this video if I don't do a good job you're

never going to see this clip because I'm going to just have to go back some more plywood well

I made it the first time around I didn't have to go buy any more plywood I had a general

purpose blade on there before and I put just a clean wood blade on there it helps a little bit

I end up drilling some pilot holes just because the first screw I put through I think the board

already had a crack but I kind of split it so I cut another piece and drilled some pilot

holes where I'm going to put the eight screws just to make the screws go in a little cleaner

so I get the frame put together now I need to cut the legs the legs are

approximately eleven and a half inches long I need for football

what's up what are you guys doing in here I'm gonna I heard these guys having fun in here so

I did take a little break from me from work to come in and check out all the action huh

whoa we lost one man down man down

so there you go I've got the legs on there the height is looking good

we've got to attach the other top do a few small things and then we'll start

working on finishing and prepping it for paint

I've got a couple of assistants helping me with the project yeah

even got a little purple in the face what the top

super hot date today I've got my friend Ethan right there behind me actually my sign me even

but here's a quick update on the cornhole set I'm pretty happy with how it's coming out I'm

almost done I've got the stickers on this I'm not a very good painter but I'm happy with the

paint job I'm going to do a clear coat on top of everything just to give it a little protection

and then I'll be done thanks for following along on this little project such a hot day today I'm

going to do a very very simple project to cool the kids off in the backyard so if you like
