0:00

So, here's what just happened in

0:01

Minnesota. You had two lawmakers that

0:04

were shot. On screen, you've got State

0:06

Senator John Hoffman, uh, just came out

0:09

of surgery. They're deemed to be in

0:11

critical condition. Hoffman Hortman on

0:14

the right, uh, corner of that screen,

0:15

bottom right corner of that screen,

0:16

she's dead. Her and her husband died.

0:19

Hoffman survived and his wife survived.

0:22

They were both shot at their homes about

0:24

8 miles apart in the Brooklyn Park area

0:28

of Minnesota. This is Tim Walls's state.

0:32

Apparently, the individual who shot both

0:36

of them, or I should say all four of

0:38

them, was addressed in a police uniform

0:41

with a police car. The police car has

0:44

been recovered. It's unclear if that

0:46

police uniform was, you know, fake or

0:48

stolen or what. And the suspect is at

0:51

large. Now, Melissa Hortman, and this is

0:54

speculation, but Melissa Hortman 4 days

0:57

ago was one of the only members of the

1:02

uh of her caucus to vote yes on a bill

1:05

that barely passed 68-65

1:10

where the House I guess ABC can't spell

1:13

approved. So, approved the bill.

1:16

Somebody's P key is broken apparently.

1:18

After a 4-hour debate, the House

1:19

approved the bill 68 to 65. Under the

1:22

agreement, top House Democratic leader

1:24

Melissa Hortman of Brooklyn Park was the

1:26

only member of her caucus to vote yes.

1:28

What was the bill? Minnesota budget deal

1:31

cuts health care for adults who entered

1:33

the US illegally. Now, it's unclear if

1:36

these are linked, but in today's

1:38

explosive environment around

1:40

immigration,

1:42

it's possible that Melissa Hortman was

1:44

shot because she as a Democrat voted to

1:48

remove healthc care for illegals. This

1:51

is a big, you know, flash point in

1:54

immigration obviously for the nation,

1:56

uh, across the board, especially as

1:59

Donald Trump is now sending orders to

2:01

ICE agents that effective today, please

2:04

hold all work on site enforcement,

2:06

investigations, operations, and

2:07

agriculture, including aquaculture and

2:09

meat packing plants, restaurants, and

2:11

operating hotels. because ICE is

2:13

basically destroying a hotel's ability

2:16

to operate. You know, house cleaners,

2:18

housekeepers, restaurant workers,

2:19

dishwashers, uh farm workers, strawberry

2:22

pickers, blueberry pickers, cabbage

2:24

pickers, uh you know, whatever. You're

2:27

destroying the ability of some of these

2:28

companies to operate because they do

2:30

rely on undocumented labor. Now,

2:32

obviously, this is a flash point in in

2:34

the country because on one side, people

2:36

say if you're here illegally, you should

2:37

be deported. Uh, and within that

2:40

umbrella, you have people who say,

2:42

"Well, yes, you are here illegally, but

2:44

maybe we shouldn't deport you. Maybe we

2:46

should just focus on deporting the

2:47

criminals." Of course, if you only

2:49

listen to Fox News, every undocumented

2:52

individual is a violent criminal. That's

2:54

because when ICE arrests 10,000

2:56

individuals, they throw 10 pictures up

2:59

of people who do have a violent history,

3:00

like rape and murder. Obviously, nobody

3:02

disagrees. Those people should be kicked

3:04

out of the country. But there are a lot,

3:07

you know, the other 9,900 or whatever

3:10

potentially are just people who are

3:12

working trying to provide a living for

3:13

themselves and their family. Now, does

3:15

that mean they're not, you know,

3:17

violating the fact that they're here

3:19

illegally? No, of course still violating

3:21

that. But that's decades of politics

3:23

that created this terrible precedent of

3:25

come to America illegally and eventually

3:27

you'll get some kind of work

3:29

authorization, get a taxpayer

3:30

identification number, you work

3:32

undocumented, you have children, people

3:34

nickname them anchor babies so you can

3:36

try to plea your case for asylum or

3:38

whatever and eventually you hope to get

3:39

some form of citizenship. Right? That's

3:41

decades in the making. Even under Trump

3:43

won that was policy, right? That's all

3:46

recently changed because now Donald

3:48

Trump believes he has a mandate to to

3:51

really enforce immigration. The border

3:53

is very secure now, but now you've got

3:55

ICE raids happening at Home Depot, uh,

3:58

you know, obviously restaurants, farm

3:59

fields. Even here in Oxnard, 10 minutes

4:01

away, we had ICE rounding people up on

4:03

the farm fields. These aren't

4:05

necessarily all violent individuals. We

4:07

don't think that. Uh, and so this has

4:09

created an immigration flashoint where

4:11

now what you have is somebody who

4:12

dressed up as a cop, killed Melissa

4:15

Hortman and her husband and critically

4:17

injured Senator Hoffman and his wife.

4:20

And so what you've got is you've now got

4:22

a situation where this immigration flash

4:24

point has exploded to where if you vote

4:27

against uh you know or or sorry if you

4:30

vote for cutting healthcare for illegals

4:33

which I personally think if you were

4:35

here undocumented

4:37

you know you you like my opinion is that

4:41

we should find a pathway for you to be

4:42

legal but you don't get any social

4:44

services. Like if you're here illegally,

4:47

we'll vet you. We'll make sure you're

4:49

not a criminal. If you promise not to

4:51

take any social services, we'll give you

4:53

citizenship, let you contribute to the

4:55

economy, uh and and uh uh you know, you

4:58

self-sustain yourself. Like to me, I

5:00

think that's budget positive for the

5:02

government, right? But I don't know that

5:03

logic really prevails in government,

5:05

whatever. I'm not in government. I'm not

5:06

a politician. But the point is this now

5:09

shows this flash point where potentially

5:11

you know this could have been I think

5:13

the way some people are going to brand

5:15

this is because this person is you know

5:17

armed and on the loose this could be

5:20

branded on one side as here's a crazed

5:23

individual who is an undocumented

5:25

immigrant themselves now killing

5:27

representatives for stealing you know

5:31

their health care for illegals.

5:33

Alternatively, some people say this

5:35

could have been somebody who's not an

5:37

immigrant. You know, maybe some white

5:40

dude people are speculating who wants to

5:43

create this flashoint to make people

5:45

think that immigrants are so violent

5:47

that they'll go as far as killing

5:49

politicians. We don't know because the

5:51

person's on the loose. So, that's what's

5:53

going on with Minnesota. Hopefully,

5:54

that's like a good little summary on

5:56

what's going on with Minnesota. Uh,

5:59

obviously, you know, a very crappy

6:01

situation. Uh in the meantime, we've

6:03

also been covering some of the latest on

6:05

what's going on. Also, mind you, on the

6:07

Minnesota uh shooting, uh which Trump

6:10

has now been briefed on. Really

6:12

important to also mention that the

6:14

individual was dressed as a law

6:15

enforcement officer, knocked on the

6:16

doors of these homes at night, and then

6:18

when they opened, shot them and and ran.

6:21

The problem with this is it's very

6:24

important to remember you do not need to

6:27

open the door to law enforcement. You do

6:29

not need to open the door. If somebody

6:32

claims in the middle of the night that

6:33

they're an officer and you need to open

6:35

the door, call the cops yourself. Verify

6:38

it's legitimate. Call 911. Wait for

6:41

dispatchers to verify that the person at

6:43

your door demanding entry is legitimate

6:45

before doing anything.

6:48

Don't open the door to a firefighter, to

6:50

a cop, to anyone uh especially in the

6:53

middle of the night if you have any sort

6:55

of suspicion at all. Now, this person

6:57

was in apparently what looked like a cop

6:59

car dressed through the cop uniform.

7:01

Remember, even if somebody says they

7:02

have a warrant,

7:04

hey, you know, at that point, you kind

7:06

of have to balance. All right, well, if

7:08

they have a warrant to enter legally,

7:09

you're supposed to let them enter, but I

7:11

don't know. I might still be calling 911

7:13

to verify like, hey, send me an email,

7:15

text me that warrant. I want to I want

7:16

to see this this document before I open

7:18

the door to anyone. I don't like opening

7:20

the door. Uh but uh but do keep that in

7:23

mind. That's that's you know something

7:25

that where this individual clearly

7:27

stalked these lawmakers before shooting

7:30

and killing them uh while killing two

7:32

two individuals uh representative and

7:34

her husband uh and then critically

7:36

injuring a state senator in Minnesota

7:38

and uh uh and his wife. Really really

7:41

terrible. Uh but it it is also a

7:43

learning lesson for everyone broadly

7:45

like you do not have to open the door

7:47

when somebody says they're a cop. Keep

7:49

that in mind. All right. So, let's get

7:52

through some more. Why not advertise

7:54

these things that you told us here? I

7:56

feel like nobody else knows about this.

7:57

We'll we'll try a little advertising and

7:59

see how it goes. Congratulations, man.
