Ledger Nano X Setup Tutorial with New Recovery Phrase

hey everyone if you've got a ledger Nano

X and you want to set it up as a new

device with a new recovery phrase this

video is just for you make sure to watch

it till the end so you don't miss any

steps first charge the battery to 100%

by connecting it to the computer to make

the battery last longer fully charge it

every few months start by plugging your

Ledger Nano X into your computer using

the cable that came with

it look for the message welcome to

Ledger Nano X on your device's screen

pay attention if you keep pressing the

button you'll see the bootloader menu

scroll down and select power off after

seeing the welcome message just press

the right button to keep going press the

right button to go through the onscreen

instructions and select the setup as a

new device option by pressing both

buttons at the same time now you have to

create a pin code which can be between

four to eight

numbers make sure not to share it with

anyone if someone knows your PIN code

and gets access to your device they

could get to your

cryptos press both buttons pick the

first number of your PIN code using the

right or left button press both buttons

to enter the number repeat these steps

to pick and put in the rest of your PIN

like I did with a four-digit code if you

choose less than eight digits you need

to choose a check mark and press both

buttons otherwise the device will

automatically go to the next step now

the device wants your PIN code again

type in the one you

picked oops I made a mistake just hit

the backspace icon to remove it pick the

right digit choose the check mark and

press both buttons again now you'll see

a message to write down your recovery

phrasee this phrase is super important

for accessing your cryptocurrencies and

the device only shows it

once make sure to write it on the

recovery sheet you'll find in The Ledger

box now press both buttons keep tapping

the right button until you see the check

mark icon then press both buttons again

the device shows the first word write it

in the number one spot on the recovery

sheet just make sure the numbers on the

sheet match the order of the words on

the

device if you mix them up you might lose

your recovery phrase and access to your

cryptocurrencies now press the right

button to see the second word write it

in the same number on the recovery

sheet keep doing this until you've

written all 24 words now press both

buttons to confirm your recovery

phrase next import the words you WR

wrote Into the device from word 1 to

word

24 to pick a word press the right button

to move between words and press both

buttons when the right word shows up if

you choose the wrong word it will show a

wrong word message now your recovery

phrase is all set keep it in a safe

place remember don't save it online

share it with anyone or import it into

any hot wallets just press the right

button read the instructions and when

you see the check mark icon press both

buttons after it's done you'll see a

device is ready

message press the right button and then

press both buttons to go to the
