If you keep replaying old conversations
in your head, there is only one reason
and two ways to stop it. Let me explain.
There's something called the default
mode network in your brain. See, when
you're not focused on anything like uh
lying down, walking, or zoning out, this
network switches on and it's supposed to
help you reflect and process emotions
and understand yourself better. But when
you're stressed or anxious, it goes into
overdrive. So, instead of helping, it
traps you in a loop. How can you stop
it? One, become aware of this loop.
Literally just tell yourself, "Ah, my
brain is looping again." And that small
moment of awareness breaks the DMN loop.
And two, interrupt with a tiny action.
It could be just uh deep breathing or
tapping your fingers. These two steps
will teach your brain to come back to
the present and slowly your mind will
