0:00

hey everyone me Kevin here the day has

0:01

come we are taking delivery of my own

0:05

Phenom 300E I am so excited it is an

0:10

awesome jet and I want to show it to you

0:12

this behind me is actually a 2015 Phenom

0:16

we flew in on this one to come pick up

0:20

this one right behind me I'm so excited

0:24

this is this is so cool I mean there

0:27

there have been a couple days that I've

0:28

been really excited to like go pick up

0:31

something one of those days was in

0:34

December of 2017 I picked up my Tesla

0:37

Model X boy that was really exciting but

0:40

I'll tell you this oh my gosh I like

0:45

this is a new level of uh of freedom to

0:48

to travel uh for work we're gonna be

0:51

hunting so many wedge deals for house

0:52

hack I will say it's a little cold right

0:54

now it's 28. I did not dress for this

0:56

it's Texas I didn't think it got that

0:58

cold here but that's all right let me

1:00

show you the plane so this is it this is

1:02

the outside of the plane it is a plane

1:04

that can be flown single pilot the 300E

1:08

is uh the model that's the enhanced

1:10

model it's uh the newer model it's got

1:13

this really awesome exterior which this

1:16

is all painted you can't wrap planes

1:19

they have to be painted apparently or at

1:21

least I've been told but it's got this

1:22

sort of circuit board design to it which

1:24

is super cool we're going to keep that

1:26

I'm going to tell you about the new tail

1:28

number we're going to get which is super

1:29

super exciting so I'll have to walk to

1:31

the other side of course but uh yeah

1:34

these are the wings they look super cool

1:35

against the 2021 I was looking at 2010s

1:38

I looked at 08 and you could save a

1:41

little bit by getting an older plane but

1:43

you could tell it's an older plane and

1:45

it just wasn't worth the difference

1:47

because most of the expenses for having

1:49

one of these planes really are the

1:52

maintenance the engine hours every hour

1:54

that this thing is in the air you're

1:56

spending about 100 bucks per engine two

1:59

engines that's 200 bucks for an engine

2:01

program so most of the expense of a

2:04

plane really is owning it uh and the

2:08

difference between this plane and a

2:12

plane that's maybe three million dollars

2:13

less really didn't make that much of a

2:16

difference since we were financing it it

2:17

made maybe about a an 11 difference once

2:21

we considered all of the costs because

2:22

you have Pilots anyway you've got the

2:24

engine programs you're paying for hourly

2:26

anyway the gas is the same everything is

2:29

the same so we decided to go for a newer

2:31

play and something that we could really

2:32

use for a good five to ten years uh

2:34

before uh selling it and maybe hopefully

2:37

upgrading but anyway uh this is the

2:39

current tail number but what I want to

2:42

do is I want to put a nice P right there

2:45

and then maybe a p right here so we get

2:47

our PP up here and then the tail number

2:50

that we're registering is uh 69 for PP

2:56

and that's because we expect that the

2:58

fee by the time we're able to change

3:00

this tail number within about six months

3:02

we expect the uh fee for the ETF that I

3:06

run to drop to about a 69 instead of 77

3:09

basis points no guarantees of course but

3:11

that's sort of my plan it's oh I think

3:13

that'll that'll be really cool but uh

3:15

yeah I mean this is just it's so

3:17

incredible just looking at this this and

3:19

it's like wow it's it's mine it's weird

3:22

so let me take you inside one thing that

3:24

I really liked about the inside of this

3:27

plane is most planes seem to have like

3:30

this earlier 2000s or late 2000s beige

3:34

leather so it's either like a Light

3:36

Beige or a darker beige and then you get

3:38

like the uh the wood colors that kind of

3:41

remind you of the 90s I'm so excited

3:43

about this jet because it's a modern

3:47

looking jet it looks awesome let's go

3:49

inside so this is the inside and I love

3:53

this it's got the bench over here these

3:55

are all belted so uh this is It's a

3:58

smaller jet I call it a little baby jet

4:00

uh it's it's a whole new world for me

4:03

it's uh very expensive and I gotta make

4:05

sure that I never leave this uh world

4:09

right so that's the most dangerous part

4:11

is you go into uh jet ownership and you

4:14

go big you buy a plane that's too big or

4:16

you get an older plane that has

4:18

substantially higher costs per hour

4:20

because it's older and therefore has

4:22

higher maintenance but it's bigger uh

4:24

you I think you put yourself into too

4:26

much risk so I really wanted to go go

4:28

for something that was just right for

4:30

the purpose that I needed and that's

4:32

this it's got nine seats so we got two

4:33

over here

4:35

this is so cool by the way look at just

4:37

this carbon fiber design over here on

4:40

the side I don't I think these pop outs

4:43

yeah look at that these pop out and

4:46

Embraer the manufacturer of this plane

4:48

Brazilian company they um they did this

4:52

because when people would come into the

4:54

plane they would frequently bump or

4:57

their their knees would hit this or

4:59

their baggage would hit the side so now

5:01

those kind of fold in which is pretty

5:02

neat what's also pretty neat is the

5:06

design of these seats is awesome really

5:09

really cool how they have that separate

5:11

uh headpiece right here and one of the

5:14

things that I really like that these can

5:16

do let me see if I can figure out how to

5:18

do it on this one oh yeah look at that

5:20

these can really rotate a lot the seeds

5:24

so what I'm thinking is when we sort of

5:26

have Team meetings I got to figure out

5:28

exactly how to do that

5:30

there we go we want to kind of be able

5:34

to tilt the seats sideways each of them

5:37

so we can also chat with the folks who

5:40

are sitting in in these seats so that

5:43

way they can kind of move their seats up

5:45

right and then we could have this sort

5:47

of six person in this region here uh

5:51

meeting if we've got you know a couple

5:52

other people we got a bench over here we

5:54

got two pilots but this is this is just

5:57

amazing it's so cool uh take a look too

6:00

at even just how these windows are done

6:02

look how nice this is

6:05

you just feels super cool and uh I mean

6:10

it looks amazing these seats here come

6:12

with these uh tables as well

6:18

super nice colors too here this is so

6:22

cool so we'll be able to do our our work

6:24

and our team meetings in here

6:26

oh this is so exciting I I cannot wait

6:30

for the deals we're going to be able to

6:32

hunt for uh in this and be kind of work

6:35

that we're going to be able to do the

6:37

team building we're going to be able to

6:38

do we're this is cool if you come back

6:41

over towards this side I'll move this in

6:44

a little bit there we go if you come to

6:46

the back what's cool about back here is

6:50

you actually have

6:53

right here is a little bathroom that is

6:57

actually serviceable from the outside so

7:01

unlike an RV where you kind of have to

7:02

like take the stuff through the cabin

7:04

you don't have to do that this lav is

7:08

serviceable from the outside and it's

7:11

also belted so a ninth person can sit

7:13

here

7:13

and what's cool it's so cold I don't

7:16

even think I can do this uh there we go

7:18

this uh this has a door on each side

7:21

that uh that we could close off so

7:24

someone has privacy of them they want to

7:25

go to the bathroom a little sink over

7:27

here

7:28

I believe there's also

7:31

let's see here

7:33

I don't know what else do I want to say

7:34

oh there's first aid down here fire

7:36

extinguishers

7:38

uh

7:39

that's a little water tank let's go look

7:42

at the front together so this is the

7:43

front of the plane this is it's off

7:46

right now but uh this is so exciting and

7:49

it's it's also really weird to think

7:51

that I own this like this is my yoke

7:54

that's my yoke these are my togas they

7:58

say toga that's so that's what I call

8:01

them those are the thrusts right this is

8:02

really cool I'm so so excited and uh

8:07

this is a this is a whole new world and

8:09

I can't wait to take you along on this

8:10

journey and what what is so exciting

8:12

about it is that uh this is this is the

8:17

next level of our YouTube channel that

8:20

we have all built together I have to

8:23

thank you in part uh of course for being

8:25

a viewer and the people you've

8:27

recommended for being viewers and the

8:30

people who have joined the programs on

8:32

building your wealth link down below and

8:34

use that coupon code or sign up for

8:36

Weeble whatever you come here to learn

8:38

about real estate or fun mental analysis

8:40

of the market or news or whatever

8:43

anyone who has watched a channel I I

8:46

sincerely owe you a great thanks uh this

8:49

is a tool that is an investment into the

8:52

future of the channel and the businesses

8:53

that we can grow together and I won't

8:56

let you down on it so I'm very very

8:57

excited about this by the way we're

8:59

going to be making a lot of flights to

9:00

find the best areas to invest in in real

9:03

estate and if you want to learn what I'm

9:05

looking for with me in person where

9:09

basically you come visit me at Oxnard

9:12

California at 11 A.M we're going to go

9:15

fly somewhere myself the team and our

9:17

Pilots we're going to go look at real

9:19

estate you can hang out talk to me all

9:21

day long we'll go get dinner together

9:23

and when we come back and land it'll

9:25

probably be somewhere around eight

9:27

o'clock and you'll have had a chance to

9:29

come fly with me in this very new plane

9:32

so if that is of interest to you check

9:35

out the link Down Below in the

9:37

description so this is kind of cool we

9:38

get a little curtain here to separate

9:40

off the pilots but honestly we probably

9:42

won't ever use that because once we have

9:44

staff Pilots we want them to be part of

9:47

our company we want them to be part of

9:49

everything that we're doing whether

9:51

we're flying or not so we're very very

9:53

excited for them to be part of the

9:55

businesses as well so over here you kind

9:58

of have a refreshment Center you can

9:59

throw some drinks up here you've got

10:02

drawers with snacks so that's really

10:04

nice D the owner the owner coolest guy

10:07

ever left us some of his snacks look

10:08

like looks like we had a cashews and M

10:11

M's over here you could have a a hot pod

10:15

over here this is basically where you

10:16

could put pre-made coffee in and you

10:19

slide it in here and then you could fill

10:20

up your coffee on the go it also keeps

10:23

it warm for you getting a real coffee

10:26

make in here would be a little expensive

10:28

but it is possible cooling drawer over

10:30

here for cooled chilled Waters got some

10:33

more drawers down over here and uh leave

10:37

one of these as trash yep there's a

10:38

little trash can as well now another

10:40

thing that's pretty cool is right here

10:43

you have this little drawer under the

10:45

seat and I call this the gun storage

10:48

drawer look at that it's just perfect

10:50

for guns and ammo because guess what

10:54

there ain't no Tina saying

10:57

what do you think Dad

10:59

amazing that's amazing it's crazy thank

11:03

you so over here we have uh Power and a

11:08

USB plug

11:09

but what's neat is the other plane the

11:12

2015 only had one here in the middle and

11:15

this plane actually has one outlet for

11:17

each seat so every seat gets a dedicated

11:19

Outlet which is kind of cool

11:22

a little storage over here for I don't

11:25

know what uh oh I know alcohol of course

11:28

yep there you go salt see one of the

11:31

things you have to remember is you can't

11:34

get a DUI on a plane

11:36

I just don't fly I don't know why but

11:40

technically this seat is uh is like the

11:43

main passenger seat so this seat usually

11:49

has some fancy additional controls for

11:52

the plane now I haven't done this yet

11:55

but let's go find out so right here

11:59

yes it does

12:01

it has uh not only a little phone and

12:04

with this phone I can talk to the pilots

12:06

or I could also make a satellite phone

12:08

call if I needed to so this is sort of

12:10

like your executive seat right but I

12:13

also have this it shows me you will

12:15

arrive in 59 minutes okay but now what

12:18

we're also going to do is

12:20

I can play with the lights oh there are

12:22

a bunch of presets here that's cool

12:24

reading lights

12:26

I'm pretty sure I can change the color

12:29

um

12:30

oh here we go

12:32

all right wait for it color temp to warm

12:38

oh yeah look at that it's like you got

12:41

Phillips Hue on a plane except I only

12:44

have two settings well I have I have

12:46

white

12:47

bluish and then the orange

12:51

we'll stick with the six thousand

12:56

this thing oh

12:58

oh my gosh it's fast this one's faster

13:02

[Music]

13:04

oh

13:06

oh that's the E baby

13:09

uh so that is actually something I was

13:11

reading on on the papers but I didn't

13:14

think it was real but like I didn't

13:16

think I would notice a difference is

13:17

what I mean I knew it was real it's on

13:18

the papers but e is enhanced and it has

13:21

stronger engines a faster flight speed

13:24

shorter takeoff distance because it has

13:27

so much more thrust on takeoff that it's

13:30

actually slightly more fuel efficient

13:31

than the non-e version the older version

13:34

dude that takeoff was like instant oh

13:38

that's so cool so if I do

13:41

this

13:43

and then this

13:47

[Music]

13:50

yes vertical

13:59

nice

14:02

this is another new feature on the newer

14:06

plane here

14:07

oh that's really nice

14:10

wow wow that's nice look at that dad

14:13

because the other one didn't have this

14:15

oh it's on a little gimbal or a little

14:17

axle at least too but yeah it shows us

14:19

here we go flying to Tulsa 50 minutes

14:22

it's like

14:24

oh that's cool

14:25

[Music]

14:30

uh I don't know it's a good question and

14:32

so it looks like here we can do video

14:35

so we'd have to put some kind of source

14:37

in

14:38

uh which looks like we got HDMI Blu-Ray

14:40

media

14:42

Bluetooth oh I want to try that I don't

14:45

think I've ever Bluetooth down to a

14:46

plane

14:47

my phenom

14:51

okay I'll try

14:53

wow there it is I'm connected no way

14:57

there we go we got Aerosmith now on the

15:00

plane oh so we we can see the speed here

15:02

too

15:04

oh yeah I wonder if we can change that

15:06

to miles there we go

15:07

378. check out this this is pretty cool

15:10

too when you go to put the table away on

15:12

the last one you had to open the lid

15:15

yourself but with this one when you just

15:17

lift this it senses that you're lifting

15:20

this and it lifts that for you

15:23

automatically look at that

15:27

let's do that one more time there we go

15:30

boom

15:33

that's pretty cool

15:36

you know what they say

15:38

new is nice this is pretty nice it's not

15:42

bad

15:45

yeah the only problem is when you change

15:48

elevations or you're still climbing and

15:50

you open this this stuff goes sliding so

15:53

my dad's like we gotta put something

15:54

here like a little matted mat

15:58

and it comes with life vests under our

16:01

seat yeah

16:03

see pull tab

16:08

I don't ever want to pull it

16:11

so now we gotta talk numbers here's the

16:13

thing about a plane planes are expensive

16:16

the only reason it would ever make sense

16:18

to own your own plane is if you were

16:21

flying three to 500 hours a year

16:24

generally people say the average that

16:26

you should fly in a year to actually

16:28

justify owning a plane unless you're so

16:31

wealthy that you're just throwing money

16:32

away and you just want a jet to have it

16:34

for whatever you want it for a business

16:36

person you should be flying at least 400

16:39

hours a year so if I do an average of 90

16:43

minute one-way trip that would be about

16:45

a three hour flight that would mean I

16:48

really need to be taken somewhere around

16:50

130 125 flights which is probably

16:56

somewhere around two to three times a

16:58

week I gotta fly somewhere which could

17:01

be parts of Arizona it could be Utah it

17:03

could be uh Salt Lake Portland you name

17:07

it but we're gonna find wedge deals and

17:09

that's the whole purpose of this jet is

17:11

I want to be able to make sure that I

17:13

can operate a media business while

17:15

operating a real estate investing

17:17

business and I'm the one making the buys

17:19

I see all the properties so some more

17:22

numbers to know is the variable costs on

17:25

this plane are somewhere between a

17:27

thousand fifteen hundred bucks an hour

17:29

the fixed costs on the plane that would

17:32

be like the loan for the plane the

17:34

pilots the hangar the insurance the

17:36

maintenance and the non-variable costs

17:38

are somewhere between

17:40

2500 to 3 500 an hour depending on how

17:44

many hours you fly five more hours the

17:46

per hour cost comes down but I would say

17:48

if you go with somewhere around

17:51

in total forty five hundred to five

17:54

thousand dollars a flight hour that'll

17:56

give you an idea of how much it costs to

17:58

operate this plane assuming you fly for

18:00

about 400 hours a year so that at least

18:02

that's roughly what we're budgeting so

18:04

I'll let you know after a year how it

18:06

went but I'm really excited

18:10

it's expensive and we're gonna have to

18:12

put a lot of money into it but it's

18:15

going to be wildly worth it especially

18:17

with what we're able to do with house

18:18

hacks so we're more than excited so

18:21

there you have it I am totally honored

18:23

honored honored to own this jet I am

18:26

going to show the world how we are going

18:29

to use this to grow our businesses and I

18:32

want to share it all with you it's so

18:34

exciting it's also kind of somewhat

18:37

scary because it's like this is big man

18:39

it's a jet it's so cool though anyway

18:42

I'm freezing so I'm gonna go inside

18:44

that's free

18:50

welcome to my first flight
