skilled manipulators of the truth. They

control. Three lies that they tell.

about something they said and boy they

will backtrack, minimize, rationalize,

justify, defend, want to give the

context for what they said. All efforts

to protect themselves from what? Feeling

healthy shame. What's another lie that

they tell? You're too sensitive. They

are shifting the blame. They are

avoiding accountability.

And again, this is another effort to

protect themselves to guard against

what? Saying to you and others, I was

wrong. I am sorry. What's their third

lie? Everyone agrees with me. Oh, I

talked to your friends and they say da

da da da. I've talked to our kids and

they agree. They think you're too

sensitive. They think you're wrong. All

right. So again, I want you to

understand that narcissists are great

manipulators.
