OpenLivingLab Days 2025 in Andorra La Vella, Andorra

This is the 16th edition of open living

lab days. This this year we decided to

have the conference in and Pandora as a

living lab. is going to be a very

special edition where we are going to

talk about living labs for regenerative

futures connecting local to global. This

is particularly important in this moment

in time for the the situation in the

world but also being in andor where it

is a very local ecosystem that is

connecting to the world through tourism

and many other projects that they are

launching right now.

for regenerative futures. What we mean

is a future which where everyone is able

to thrive where people and uh planet and

the environment are able to flourish and

living labs of course is about bringing

all the actors together to co-create

hear all of the different perspectives

and move forwards in this kind of

hopeful way to to a better future.

I think there might be several

challenges because the standards might

be different from a region to the other

region. Something that might be value

for one specific context might not be a

value for the other place. Living lab

tries to harmonize and make the values

kind of coherent between every region or

every context. That's why uh replication

and upcaling will be globally impactful

in the whole process of innovations for

everyone.

>> We're having also a new exciting

experiment. It's called the networking

village. We want to mix also with the

local population with the citizens and

to have a conference that leaves a

legacy also to the host. So we have

created a place where people can pass by

listen to some of the talks and get in

touch with the liab community.

So there are two ways to innovate in a

way. You can be a born global when you

are doing your innovation you're already

thinking about that as a global

solution. So then whatever you do at the

locally then it's also scalable in the

in the future. So I I think you should

be thinking about born global is the

term that you could be using.

So we have to put the citicians in the

center in order to include all the

diversity the diversity and and this we

can balance everybody and keep and

improve the well-being in in our

ecosystems. Whenever we have a project

that even it's not answering directly

them, we need to think that there are

other people maybe not that minorities

who are not maybe directly involved in

this co-creation that maybe we should

think further look around that we don't

leave anybody behind.

We meet local communities,

share our experiences, best practices,

raise different questions,

uh but also got a lot a lot of

inspirations to support us in the

process of making the regenerative

future.

>> If you attend only living lab

conferences, this is your

interchangeable edition. But the issue

is there are not so many living lab

conferences. We are the unique one and

we are the most valuable one because we

cover the whole world. We have the

certification process and we offer a lot

a lot of services to our members. So
