2 Things Socially Confident People Do
FULL TRANSCRIPT
[Music]
here's two things socially confident
people do number one is focus outward
when you feel awkward it's usually
because you get distracted from the
conversation with worry about how you're
coming across to the other person
sometimes focusing only on what you're
trying to avoid leads you straight to it
confident people haven't worked out how
to prevent awkward moments from
happening in fact they don't try to
avoid them at all their focus is on the
person in front of them and number two
be willing to experience shyness and
awkward moments both occur naturally
from everyone sometimes and the
possibility of them happening doesn't
disappear but both lose their power over
you when you face them and discover that
you can tolerate a few awkward moments
and when you're no longer focused on
avoiding them they no longer threaten to
shrink your social world
