get triggered actually you want to
scream at them, cry or shut down. That's
when this rule will help you. If you are
triggered, ask yourself, will this
matter in 10 minutes? Will this matter
in 10 days or will this matter [music]
in 10 months from now? Now when you ask
these questions, you activate the
logical part of your brain. Your mind
shifts from reaction to reason. So it
calms your emotions. And the rule is if
[music] the answer is no, even for one
question, exhale and let it go. Because
if it won't matter in 10 minutes, 10
days or 10 months, [music] then why do
you have to waste your time, your
thoughts, your peace? Protect your
peace. Not every trigger deserves your
response.
