✝️ ROSARY FOR LENT, FIRST MONDAY OF LENT ROSARY, Sorrowful Mysteries, Lenten Rosary
FULL TRANSCRIPT
As we begin a new week of Lent, we are
reminded that this journey is lived one
day at a time. Some days we feel strong
and other days we feel tired or
discouraged. Lent invites us not to be
perfect, but to begin again each morning
with trust in God's mercy. As we pray
the sorrowful mysteries today, we ask
Jesus to help us start fresh, to renew
our commitment to prayer, and to walk
forward with hope. In the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit. Amen. I believe in God the
Father Almighty, creator of heaven and
earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only
son, our Lord, who was conceived by the
Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontious Pilate, was
crucified, died, and was buried. He
descended into hell. The third day he
rose again from the dead. He ascended
into heaven and sits at the right hand
of God the Father Almighty. From then he
shall come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Holy Catholic Church, the communion of
saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life
everlasting. Amen. Our Father, who art
in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy
kingdom come, thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread. And forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us. And lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from
evil. Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou
amongst women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of
God, pray for us sinners, now and at the
hour of our death. Amen. Hail Mary, full
of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed
art thou amongst women, and blessed is
the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary,
mother of God, pray for us sinners, now
and at the hour of our death. Amen. Hail
Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with
thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
for us sinners, now and at the hour of
our death. Amen. Glory be to the Father
and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and
ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will
be done on earth as it is in heaven.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And
do thou, O prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God, cast into hell
Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl
about the world seeking the ruin of
souls. Amen. Hail, holy queen, mother of
mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our
hope. To you we cry, poor banished
children of Eve. To you we send up our
size, mourning and weeping in this
valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate, your
eyes of mercy toward us, and after this
exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of
thy womb, Jesus. Oh clement, oh loving,
oh sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, oh
holy mother of God, that we may be
worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray, oh God, whose only begotten
son by his life, death, and resurrection
has purchased for us rewards of eternal
salvation.
Grant us, we beseech thee, that
meditating upon these mysteries of the
most holy rosary of the blessed virgin
Mary, we may imitate what they contain
and obtain what they promise. Through
the same Christ, our Lord. Amen. Let us
end our prayer session for today with
our invocation prayer. Lord, make me an
instrument of thy peace. Where there is
hatred, let me so love. Where there is
injury, pardon. Where there is doubt,
faith. Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light. And
where there is sadness, joy. Oh divine
master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console, to be
understood as to understand, to be loved
as to love. For it is in giving that we
receive. It is in pardoning that we are
pardoned, and it is in dying that we are
born to eternal life. Bless, O Lord, our
deliberations and grant that whatever we
may say and do we will have thy blessing
and guidance through Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen. As we conclude today's
rosary, we thank God for the gift of new
beginnings. May this fifth day of Lent
renew our desire to pray, to trust, and
to grow closer to Christ. May the Lord
travel with you, your family, and
friends today, tomorrow, and every other
day. Thank you for praying with me. In
the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
