when designing a road kind of is um

like balancing the cut and the fill so

so there's a big hill here obviously to

get that road in that level

without it going up the hill and then

back down again you're gonna have to

cut some of the material out of the land

smooth hills so it follows the ground

i guess over here is a little bit so the

and your road wants to go a bit above it

so this is what we call an earthwork

like this slope and obviously you've got

is you try and balance out the amount of
