Major updates on the Tyler Robinson

case. The uh Utah County Attorney

General has just filed a charges. We

have seven charges against a Tyler

Robinson. And we also have some other

information. I'm going to get into the

most interesting information first to

save you as much time as possible.

First, the Utah County attorney is

demanding the death penalty. They say

this is not inspired by anything that

has been said politically or in the

public eye. it's that they believe that

is the right punishment if Tyler

Robinson is proven guilty, which based

on what you're about to hear, there's

they've got a lot on this guy. Uh, so

they're seeking the death penalty and

there will be no bail. They have found

DNA consistent with Tyler Robinson on

the very trigger of the rifle that was

recovered. Tyler Robinson also told his

roommate to delete incriminating text

messages and not talk to the police.

Tyler Robinson also posted in Discord

per the Washington Post. Quote, "Hey

guys, I have bad news for all of you,"

said a message from an account belonging

to the suspect, Tyler Robinson on the

online platform Discord. "It was me at

UVU yesterday. I'm sorry for all of

this." It's pretty chill chill a pretty

chilling admission here, but it's beyond

that. There are also admissions from

conversations with a roommate, and this

is very interesting. Um, we'll go

through the counts and all that in just

a moment, but from the moment of the

shooting, apparently a UVU officer

immediately scanned the roof line and uh

went to where that roof line was. They

immediately saw those impressions in the

ground and that's how they were able to

lock down the region and then secure the

rifle. Apparently the rifle where the

rifle was found.

Robinson ended up going to change his

and he meant to retrieve the rifle later

but never did. He was never

uh there are there's commentary that

over time Robinson had become more

interested in left ideology and that he

had become more sympathetic towards open

uh uh towards I'm sorry gay uh and

transgender issues. Then he started to

date his roommate whom the Utah County

Attorney General's office is now saying

is a biological male and is trans. In

the text message conversations that they

go through, they also make it very clear

that they talk to each other uh as if

they are in a relationship. Uh Tyler

Robinson multiple times refers to uh the

roommate as my love. Tyler Robinson at

one point did imply that he wanted to

take his own life, but then his family

convinced him to come home uh and then

ultimately turn himself in. Uh now, uh

what we got in the conversations here,

these are some of the notes I wrote

down. Uh so he says, "Drop what you're

doing. Look under my keyboard. I had the

opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and

I'm going or I have the opportunity

to take out Charlie Kirk and I'm going

to take it. I'll have to fix that." I

wrote this down really fast as they were

going through it in the press briefing.

Police found a photograph of this note.

The following then took place. What?

You're joking, right? And I skipped some

miscellaneous comments that didn't

really add any context. Uh, but what?

You're joking. Uh, right. Uh, I'm still

okay, my love, but I'm stuck in Orum a

while longer. I had hoped to keep this

secret until I died of old age. You

weren't the one who did it, right? I am.

I am. I thought they caught him. No,

they grabbed some crazy old guy. I plan

to grab my rifle from my drop point, but

that part of town is locked down. Why?

Why did I do it? Yeah, I had enough of

Charlie Kirk's hatred. Some hatred can't

be undone. How long have you been

planning this? A bit over a week. This,

by the way, I think is really

interesting because it shows you how

like rapidly these things can evolve.

It's not like this person was planning

this for years and it would have been

easier to intervene uh in, you know,

obviously there are clear mental health

issues that the individual has, but you

know, this this all spawned very very

quickly, right? I'm worried my what my

old man would think if I didn't bring

back my grandpa's rifle. I changed

outfits in a bush and left the rifle. I

hope they don't find Prince. They got

DNA on the rifle apparently on the

screwdriver, on the rifle, on the

trigger. It It doesn't look good for

Tyler Robinson. Now, obviously innocent

until proven guilty, but all these text

messages and the DNA evidence uh that

they say matches Tyler Robinson, it just

doesn't sound good messages. Uh the he

says the etchings on the bullet casings

were mostly a big meme. Uh and that his

roommate should delete this exchange. My

grand my dad wants photos of the rifle.

My grandpa wants to know uh who has

what. Since Trump got into office, my

dad has been a pretty diehard MAGA. I'm

going to turn myself in willingly. You

are all I worry about love. Don't talk

to the media or talk uh or or you know

if the uh or take any interviews uh if

police ask you for a lawyer. Um, if

police ask to talk to you, ask for a

lawyer and stay silent. Police then

executed a search warrant on Robinson's

house and they found etchings into other

bullets in a similar style as what they

found in the bullets uh in the the the

unused sort of cartridges uh in the uh

magazine that was found with the rifle.

The uh the conversation really makes it

clear that they're in a relationship. It

makes it clear that this person sort of

snapped over the last week, maybe saw

that Charlie Kirk was coming to this

campus and, you know, took that

opportunity at the time. Uh, which is

really sad and scary to think about how

quickly this could evolve because it

sort of minimizes the time for society

to be able to actually identify and

solve these sort of issues or intervene

with these issues. It also looks like

the roommate just didn't know about this

issue. Again, that note was left under

uh Tyler Robinson's keyboard previously.

We had been wondering, hey, like is

there a potential that, you know, maybe

uh Tyler Robinson's roommate is

complicit in what's going on here? And

uh based on this text message exch ex

exchange, it seems like no. Uh the uh

local attorney general is looking for

aggravated charges here because Tyler

Robinson took or committed this act of

violence knowing that children were

present and could witness it, which is a

way of sort of aggravating uh all of the

seven charges. Count one, aggravated

murder, capital offense felony. Count

two, felony discharge of firearm,

first-degree felony. Count three,

obstruction of justice, concealing

rifle. Count four, obstruction of

justice, concealing clothing. Count

five, witness tampering, telling

roommate to incrimidate text. Count six,

witness tampering, telling roommate to

stay silent. Count seven, violent

offense in the presence of children. Uh,

he will be making his first appearance

today at 300 p.m. in Utah County and is

being held without bail again. They are

seeking the death penalty. Gives you a
