TRUST God, He Will Make the Impossible Possible | Christian Motivation
FULL TRANSCRIPT
Welcome back to our channel. Today we
want to talk about something that
touches every single one of us at some
point in our lives. Those moments when
we face situations that [music] feel
completely beyond our reach.
Circumstances that seem to have no
solution and challenges that leave us
wondering if there's any way forward.
Our main scripture for today's video is
Matthew 19 26 [music] where Jesus looked
at them and said, "With man, this is
impossible, but with God all things are
possible." There's something about the
word impossible that carries such
weight, isn't it? It's the diagnosis
that comes with no treatment [music]
plan. It's the relationship that seems
too broken to heal. It's the financial
mountain that feels too high to climb.
It's the dream that everyone says will
never happen. It's the fear that
whispers, "You're not enough, not
qualified, not capable." We've all stood
in that place where our own strength
runs out, where our best efforts fall
short, [music] and where the path ahead
is blocked by obstacles we cannot move
on our own. But here's the beautiful
[music] truth we need to remember. Our
limitations are not God's limitations.
What stops us doesn't stop him. [music]
What confuses us doesn't confuse him.
And what seems impossible to us is
simply an opportunity for him to show
his power. [music]
When Jesus spoke these words in Matthew
19 26, he wasn't just offering comfort.
He was revealing a fundamental truth
about who God is. The disciples had just
heard Jesus say how hard it is for the
rich to enter the kingdom of God and
they were astonished asking who then can
be saved. Their question came from a
place of human reasoning, human
limitation, human impossibility.
But Jesus redirected their focus. He
didn't say try harder or figure it out.
He said that with God all things are
possible. This wasn't empty
encouragement. This was a declaration
that God operates in a completely
different realm than we do. He is not
bound by our circumstances, our
resources, or our understanding. He is
the God who makes a way where there is
no way. Let's look at one of the most
powerful examples of this truth in
scripture, the story of Moses at the Red
Sea. Picture this moment with me. The
Israelites have just been freed from
Egypt after 400 years of slavery.
They're following Moses into the
wilderness, carrying their families,
their belongings, everything they own.
And then they hear it, the sound of
Pharaoh's army chasing them. Hundreds of
chariots, thousands of soldiers, the
most powerful military force in the
world at that time, coming after them
with one purpose, to bring them back
into bondage or destroy them completely.
The Israelites reached the edge of the
Red Sea. And suddenly they had realized
they're trapped. Water in front of them,
an army behind them, mountains on both
sides. There is no escape route, no plan
B, no human solution. And in that
moment, fear takes over. They cry out to
Moses, "Why did you bring us here to
die? We should have stayed in Egypt."
But Moses speaks words that echo through
history. Words that we find in Exodus 14
13 and 14. Do not be afraid. Stand firm
and you will see the deliverance the
Lord will bring you today. The Lord will
fight for you. You need only to be
still. Think about what Moses was saying
here. He wasn't promising that he had a
plan. He wasn't saying he knew how to
solve this. He was simply declaring that
God would do what only God could do. And
sure enough, God told Moses to stretch
out his staff over the sea. When he did,
the waters parted. Not just a little
pathway, but walls of water on both
sides with dry ground in between. The
Israelites walked through on dry land
while their enemies were held back. What
was impossible became possible. Not
because Moses was confident. Not because
the people had great faith, but because
God showed up in their impossibility.
What strikes me most about Moses's story
is this. His obedience mattered more
than his confidence. He didn't feel
ready. He didn't have all the answers,
but he chose to trust God [music] and do
what God asked him to do. And that's
where God's power was revealed. The same
principle applies to us today. God
doesn't always call the qualified. He
qualifies the called. He doesn't wait
for us to have everything figured out.
He invites us to step forward in faith
even when we're trembling, even when we
can't see the outcome. Now, let me share
a modern example that beautifully
illustrates this same truth. Tim Thibo,
a name many of you recognize. Tim is
known for his athletic career, his
faith, and his unwavering commitment to
honoring God in everything he does. But
what many people don't realize is how
many times Tim has faced situations that
seemed impossible by human standards.
During his football career, critics
constantly said he didn't have what it
took to succeed at the professional
level. His style was unconventional. His
abilities were questioned. The pressure
was immense. Yet, Tim made a choice that
would define his journey. He decided
that success in God's eyes mattered more
than success in the world's eyes. He
openly prayed before games. He used his
platform to share his faith. He started
a foundation to help children with
special needs and has built hospitals
and served people around the world. But
here's what makes Tim's story so
relevant to our message today. He didn't
always get the outcomes the world
expected. His football career didn't
follow the path everyone predicted.
There were setbacks, disappointments,
and closed doors. Yet through it all,
Tim's life has been marked by purpose,
impact, and faithfulness. Why? Because
he understood what we're talking about
today. That trusting God doesn't always
mean getting the outcome you imagined,
but it does mean walking in the purpose
God has for you.
Tim Thibo's life shows us that when we
surrender our plans to God, when we
choose obedience over popularity, when
we trust God with our impossible
situations, he uses us in ways we never
could have orchestrated ourselves. Tim's
influence extends far beyond any
stadium. His faith has encouraged
millions. His work has saved lives. His
testimony has pointed countless people
to Jesus. That's what happens when we
let God work through our
impossibilities. The connection between
Moses and Tim Tibo might not seem
obvious at first, but it's actually
quite clear. Both faced circumstances
that seemed impossible. Both chose
obedience and trust over fear and
control. Both discovered that God's plan
was bigger and better than anything they
could have imagined.
>> [music]
>> And both became testimonies of what
Romans 8:31 declares. If God is for us,
who can be against us? When God is on
your side, the opposition doesn't
matter. The obstacles don't have the
final say. The impossibility becomes an
opportunity for God to demonstrate his
faithfulness. I want you to know
something important today. God is still
in the business of making the impossible
possible. He hasn't changed. His power
hasn't diminished. His love for you
hasn't faded. The same God who parted
the Red Sea is the God who is with you
right now. The same God who has worked
through ordinary people throughout
history wants to work through you. You
might be thinking, "But I'm not Moses.
I'm not Tim Tibo. I'm just me." And
that's exactly the point. God
specializes in using ordinary people who
trust him with extraordinary situations.
He doesn't need you to be perfect. He
doesn't need you to have all the
answers. He just needs you to be
willing. So, what is your Red Sea
moment? What situation in your life
feels impossible right now? Maybe it's a
broken relationship that needs healing
and you've tried everything you know to
fix it. Maybe it's a financial burden
that keeps you up at night and you can't
see how the numbers will ever work out.
Maybe it's a health challenge that
doctors can't solve. Maybe it's a
calling you feel in your heart but can't
imagine how it could ever become
reality. Maybe it's a pain from your
past that feels too deep to overcome.
Whatever it is, I want to encourage you
with Philippians 4:13, which says, "I
can do all this through him who gives me
strength." Notice it doesn't say through
my own power or through my own wisdom.
It says through him, through Christ,
through God's strength, not ours. The
invitation today is simple but powerful.
Surrender your impossible situation to
God. Stop trying to carry it alone. Stop
trying to figure it all out in your own
understanding. Stop letting fear
convince you that nothing can change.
Instead, do what Moses did. [music]
Stand firm and watch God work. Do what
Tim Thibo has done. Choose faithfulness
over popularity and [music] trust over
control. Place your impossible situation
in God's hands and believe what Jesus
declared. With God, all things are
possible. This doesn't mean it will be
easy. It doesn't mean you won't have to
walk through difficult moments. But it
does mean you won't walk through them
alone. And it [music] means that God can
do more in your impossibility than you
ever could in your own strength. Before
we close today, we want to invite you to
do something. In the comments below, we
encourage you to type these words, God
makes the impossible possible. Let that
declaration be your act of faith today.
Let it be your statement of trust. Let
it remind you and encourage others who
will read it that we serve a God who is
not limited by what we see. Your comment
could be exactly what someone else needs
to see today to keep believing, to keep
[music] trusting, to keep holding on. As
we come to the end of our time together,
we want to invite you into a moment of
prayer. This is a prayer where we ask
God to step into your impossible
situation and do what only he can do. If
you're ready, if you're willing to trust
him with what feels impossible, pray
with us right now. Heavenly Father, we
come before you today with humble hearts
and honest struggles. We acknowledge
that there are situations in our lives
that feel completely impossible. There
are mountains we cannot move, doors we
cannot open, and problems we cannot
solve on our own. But God, we also
acknowledge that you are not limited
like we are. You are the God who parted
the Red Sea. You are the God who makes a
way where there is no way. You are the
God for whom all things are possible. So
today we surrender our impossible
situations to you. We release our need
to control, our need to understand and
our need to have all the answers. We
choose to trust you even when we cannot
see the outcome. Strengthen our faith.
Increase our courage. Help us to stand
firm like Moses and be faithful like
those who have gone before us. Remind us
that you are with us in every moment, in
every struggle, in every uncertainty. We
believe that you are working, that you
are moving, and that you will make a
way. We place our hope, our trust, and
our impossible situations into your
capable hands. In Jesus mighty name we
pray. Amen. Remember this truth as you
go forward. God's power is not limited
by your circumstances, your past, or
your fears. He is able to do
immeasurably more than all we ask or
imagine. Trust him with your impossible
and watch him work. Have a great day and
God bless.
