Master Level Game: Why You CAN NOT Be Romantic | Emotional Longing & Over Achievers
“The reason why you are romantic, your romantic obsessions is because you have unresolved emotional issues.”
FULL TRANSCRIPT
Emotionally immature parents hate to see
you rest. You resting, relaxing,
enjoying your life triggers in them a
deep envy. And this is why you can't
rest today. Because every time you sat
down, you were made to get back up.
Every time you dared to sleep in, they
were slamming the vacuum in your room at
6:00 a.m. out of resentment and
punishment. They saw something in you
that they felt the need to destroy it.
And that is your ability to feel
entitled to ease and to peace. That is
what malignant envy does. It doesn't
make them want what you have. They are
not thinking I wish I could rest. They
are thinking I need to make sure that
you can't.
>> Ooh, this is going to be a good one. In
my last video, fellas, I told you guys
that your desire to be better than
[music] everybody else isn't rooted in
ambition. It is rooted in the control
and abuse mechanisms [music] you were
subjected to throughout your childhood.
I told you guys that the reason why you
believe that you have to be outstanding,
exceptional, and superior to everybody
else is because you was absolutely not
allowed to be normal or ordinary.
Nothing to do with ambition, nothing to
do with excellence. You was absolutely
not allowed to be average. absolutely
not allowed to simply exist, rest, think
for yourself, or achieve
self-actualization.
Not even regulation. Because a regulated
little boy is a little boy who won't
have a deep desire to prove himself
worthy. And that is unacceptable.
You was raised to be a human doing,
[music] an employee, a slave, a
consumer, a husband, not a human being.
Only the nobility get to just be. You
was raised [music] to do. And what is so
dark about this is that you believe you
have to be outstanding to fit in. I'll
say that again. [music] You believe you
have to be outstanding to simply fit in,
not outstanding to outstand everybody
else. You pathologically believe you
have to become a mountain in order to be
recognized as good enough amongst the
hills. If you're an overachiever, the
quality of your life is determined by
how you answer the following question.
[music] What's actually driving you?
Because I think most overachievers are
being driven by something that they
[music] don't fully understand. I call
it dirty fuel. Dirty fuel is the chip on
your shoulder. It's the voice [music]
that says, "Fuck you. I will prove you
wrong." It's powerful. In fact, it's
usually what creates ambitious [music]
people in the first place. But it comes
with a cost because it's kind of like
putting rocket fuel in a car engine. The
acceleration is incredible, but slowly
the engine pays the price. Because
underneath all of the work ethic and the
discipline, [music] that fuel is fear.
Usually a subconscious fear that says if
I don't achieve X, then I am not worthy
of [music] Y. X might be money, status,
recognition, success. And Y is usually
something much deeper like love,
respect, belonging, peace. This is a
inferiority complex.
This is low value. And it's very sad
when you think about it. This is what I
call echoes of control and abuse. You
believe you have to be exceptional to be
accepted. And it's a sickness of the
mind when you think about it. You
believe that you have to be
extraordinary
in order to be treated ordinarily. And
because of this, you have no real
friends,
no real holes, and no real connections.
Maybe. Think about it. You truly believe
that in order to be accepted by others,
you must be superior to others. So,
psychologically, you have been set up in
a way where you are unable to see others
as equals. even the people you love,
even the people you like, because you
believe you have to be better than them
to be accepted by them.
Think about all of the
issues
that would come with
being set up like that and you are
confused as to why everybody gravitates
away from you.
>> So boom, some people will never want to
see you as an equal for whatever reason.
They think they're more deserving than
you. In their minds, there is a social
hierarchy. Wherever they're placed, they
see you as beneath them and they will
expect certain benefits because of this.
It gets ingrained into their egos and
how they perceive reality. That you must
cater to them and validate them. That
you must be a people pleaser and break
down your boundaries for them. If you
stand up to them, treat them as an
equal, say no to them or establish
boundaries, they will get reactive.
Their egos will feel challenged. They'll
get defensive and treat you as the
[music] problem when really it's the
fact that they see you as less than
them. You refuse to feel inferior to
others because this means to you that
you aren't good enough or worthy of
anything. But you cannot see yourself as
equals to others because this means to
you that you will have to see yourself
and accept yourself as normal,
ordinary, average. And this is a
function that has been abused out of
you. Like think about it. You actually
was not allowed to be normal or average.
>> They see you as beneath them. So they
think self-respect is hostility towards
them rather than simply [music] asking
for respectful treatment. You should
treat everyone as an equal. You'll find
those who do the same. You'll also
filter out those who want you to be
beneath them. They are not people you
want in your life anyways. The people
they worship and idolize may see you as
an equal. Everyone's perception of
reality is different. Find those who
align with yours. Unable to actually
generate true connections with other
people's because in order to generate a
true connection, bond, and trust with
another person, you both have to see
each other as as equals.
And this may have worked when you was a
child in school with your parents, but
as an adult in a free world, this does
not work. As I said, you will literally
have nothing in this life, not be able
to have people around you, or you'll be
forced to dominate people in order to
have people around you. When nobody is
attracted to you romantically or
platonically, you tell yourself that it
is because they are jealous. And maybe
they are. We live in an incredibly
jealous world. But this becomes the fate
and the prophecy
for this man. For the man who believes
he has to become a mountain to be
accepted by the hills. When he hears one
of the hills doing well, he cannot have
this internally or externally as the
other hill's success threatens to
destabilize his false and contrived
feelings of superiority. And any friend
that has to feel superior to you in
order to function is no friend.
Any lover that has to feel superior to
you in order to function is no lover.
And any brother that has to feel
superior to you, better than you in
order to function,
is no brother. Remember, this individual
does not believe he has any inherent
value. He's been abused and controlled
into believing that he has to do back
flips, that he has to gestat in order to
receive the same level of acceptance and
treatment as other members of the herd.
But this type of man, the man who turns
into the dominant man, he cannot allow
the successes of the other hills, he
can't allow it because their success
makes him less extraordinary. The more
the people around him
become extraordinary, it makes him look
more ordinary. And remember, as I keep
telling you, he truly believes he has to
be extraordinary to be accepted. This is
