In average, I can see in six months is
like $670,000.
>> In six months, $60,000.
>> Yes.
>> So, you're about $10,000 a month.
>> Yes.
>> To average it out.
>> Yeah.
>> Mhm.
>> But is average 10 or you're growing. And
then what was last month?
>> No, I mean growing because now we have
like more wholesale uh orders.
>> And what was last month?
>> Um 15.
>> Very good already.
>> Yeah. It's so good. I think you
>> you're doing between $3 to $5,000 in
profit. Awesome. Uh, and you you guys
are obviously very talented in social
media. Uh, well, so you got you got to
be doing something, right? Because
[laughter]
if you're not if this was not something
that you guys studied, but you started
posting and it worked, then you clearly
have a talent for it, right?
>> We consider like a book order, if you
order more than
>> 50, right?
>> 50.
>> There's not big economies of scale when
we talk about 3D printing.
>> We have now like [music] 12 machines,
but Six of them we bought, the rest we
did like a collab. So [music] for me
it's like more than $15,000
just in machines that we got.
>> Mhm.
>> Yeah. Know it's super good and and those
things mostly happen because of your
social media presence.
>> Yeah.
>> We try to be consistent every day. We do
our best. [laughter]
How to sell 3D prints as the fixes show
when we go and meet real people, real
families in this case that are beginning
their 3D printing businesses and we talk
about the things that are doing right,
the things that they're not doing so
right and we help them to come out with
a plan to really succeed their business.
Today I'm here with Little Printy Co.
which is more than just a business. It's
a family. We are like really excited for
that because I know that Bruno and
Ashley have like a lot of experience
more than eyes. We are like new in 3D
printing world. It's like let's say 6
months and I know that we are going to
have like a great feedback from them for
sure.
>> Thank you very much for being on the
show. I also have here with me my
co-host Ashley Lee who's an expert in
local sales and we are going to dive a
little bit deeper on how they're running
their business and what are you guys
doing. So please start by telling us how
it all began and what's the story behind
Little Printy Co. So Mila kind of
started with she brought home like a toy
that her friend made for her on her 3D
printer and she really liked it and she
showed my parents and she like wanted to
get a 3D printer with her own money. So
she saved up and got one and my parents
like they were really interested in it
and really invested cuz it was a new
thing for all of us like especially for
them cuz it was more like modern stuff
and then they researched about it. Mila
made like a paper with pros and cons and
a week later we got our second printer
and that's how it started.
>> Nice. So what were you when you started
to sell the prints like what were the
first things that you guys sold?
>> What do we started with playsets and
then eventually we made clickers
>> and this would have been when?
>> Month ago.
>> Yes. When we started our Etsy shopping.
>> So you right away started an Etsy shop.
>> Yeah. Exactly. Because you want to sell,
right? And then the easier way to do it
was Etsy was market very famous popular
marketplace. So that's why we started
there. And then a month ago I believe we
launched our website our own website.
>> So was it like you got the printer and
the next day okay let's build a business
or how did that how did it immediately
turned into a business? I think when we
saw the opportunity that it is something
that the four of us we enjoy in doing it
and then we decided say okay let's turn
into a a business because it's an
interesting story G and I we were having
lunch together and then we were talking
about something a a new business or we
want to bring the girls uh to do
something that they are good at and then
they what they like because we never
know the future with our jobs uh with
them and then this at the same day Mila
came to us talking about 3D printing. So
that's why we decided to invest in her
idea.
>> Uh were you guys researching 3D printing
content? Were you guys seeing 3D
printing content? How the Miller's idea
turned back to this could be a business
for us?
>> Because after we bought our first
printer,
>> we start searching for everything. uh
how to use the printer, how to set up uh
the printer, how to use Bumble Lab
Studio. We didn't know anything about
>> our first products were were like
>> the play sets and we hired like a
designer and he created everything based
on the girls ideas and we could like
seeing the real life just a print in our
machine. So, uh, you talked about like
initially it was all Omea's idea and
vision, but you didn't research if this
was a product that had had demand on the
market and and is this product a hit?
It's still a hit.
>> Yeah.
>> Wow. Uh, and you're still expanding on
the playsets?
>> Yes, we have some other ideas for now.
>> We have 10 playsets right now. Are they
your best seller? The playsets.
>> The playsets is they are
>> Yeah, but it's changed a little bit.
It's changed a little bit now.
>> Especially the the pasta play site is so
good.
>> It's so good. We are selling a lot. The
pasta playet.
>> I saw you have it on Etsy.
>> Yeah, it's uh went viral.
>> Yeah, you we use like Instagram and Tik
Tok for now, but I think soon we are
going to use YouTube charts as well.
>> So our video for Pa Playsets went viral
as well. On Tik Tok I think it's more
than 4 million views.
>> That's a lot.
>> Yeah. And then here on Instagram, um, 1
million something, 1.8.
>> Yeah, millions if I'm not wrong.
>> Awesome. Uh, and you you guys are
obviously very talented in social media.
Uh, well, so you got you got to be doing
something, right? Because if you're not
if this was not something that you guys
studied, but you started posting and it
worked, then you clearly have a talent
for it, right? And I want to know, you
have right now an Instagram and a Tik
Tok, right?
>> Yes. Which one drives more traffic? How
are you driving this traffic? How are
you guys working with them?
>> On Instagram, we it's the our main
social media uh platform.
>> Do you tag the products?
>> Uh the products. Oh, you were saying the
designer?
>> No, the products that the person can
click and buy inside Tik Tok.
>> No, no, I don't know how to
>> You're missing out on a lot of revenue
over here.
>> Yeah. Have you considered a Tik Tok
shop?
>> Uh because Tik Tok shop, they are not
here in Canada.
>> I was going to say I've never looked
into it. I don't know. I think he's only
in the US.
>> Only in the US right now.
>> He's not here.
