How Oracle Uses Codex to Help Business Users Get Answers — Transcript

If you asked me a year ago that you can actually describe an outcome to Codex and it would be accomplished that would be inconceivable. In OAL Oracle Applications Lab we you can think of us as part of the operating system for the company. The way we answer questions in the past is via the use of reports. So it's a laborious process to create a report to answer a question. Now we allow business users to just describe an outcome and then it's really up to Codex to plan and to rationalize what MCP service to call. They would gather the information and then be able to then present the result that is being requested. It could be in the form of a analysis, a report or even an application. That is a major shift. I would even call it business transformation that would allow our business users to be able to make decisions a lot quicker.
