FAQ
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. You install it with one line (or upload a ZIP to Claude.ai), then ask in plain English. The result is a file you double-click to open in your browser.
Is it really free?+
Yes. The skill is free and open source under the MIT license. Transcripts are free for 10 videos a month on YouTubeTranscript.dev, or free anytime if you paste the transcript yourself. You need Claude (Claude.ai, Claude Code) or another AI agent to run it.
Is my API key safe on the chat page?+
The page has no backend. Your OpenRouter key goes only from your browser to OpenRouter, and is kept in memory unless you tick "Remember". It's never written into the file, so sharing the page never shares your key.
Will it make things up?+
It's instructed to answer only from the transcript, cite timestamps so you can check, and say when the video doesn't cover something.
