'Do I Look Stupid' Top Democrats Want To Remove Schumer

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is

Carmine Sabia for Explain America and

the Democrats are abandoning ship on one

Charles Schumer. And frankly, I can't

believe it's taken this long. Before we

I've never seen anything like this.

Schumer

says no to a plan to reopen the

government.

Schumer then gives a counter proposal to

reopen the government, which is

ridiculous.

It's it involves amnesty and citizenship

for illegal immigrants.

The Republicans come back days later and

give pretty much everything Schumer

wanted except for that the amnesty.

Schumer rejects it. Continuously moving

what he wants to be done to the point

now where Democrats are getting angry

because the only thing Schumer's caring

about, it's not the midterms for the

other senators. It's really not. It's

not for his party.

Schumer's deathly afraid of Alexandria

Kaziocortez primary him. And the reason

you're facing long lines at the airport

is because of that. The reason we have

TSA agents who are not able to pay their

bills is because of that. is because one

man is so afraid for his job that he's

willing to shove the rest of the country

under the bus. And finally, we have

Democrats looking like they're getting

ready to oust him from leadership. I

his heels dug in on this DHS funding

stuff. And as we see these long lines at

airports getting more and more

frustrating for for the traveling

public, anybody who's got a trip coming

up, and I'm among them, is worried about

whether or not they're going to make

their flight big time. I've seen these

lines uh firsthand, some 2 3 hours, four

hours long. Houston being one of the

worst and and we've seen um our

reporting out of there. But what's

really amazing in spite of all of that,

Congress cannot get its act together.

They cannot get it together on both

sides. They cannot come to a conclusion.

Right now, both sides are accusing each

other of all kinds of things, but even

inside the parties, they're not getting

to a solution uh across the finish line

here. Now, the president factors into

that too, adding all kinds of the Save

America Act and other stipulations. Uh,

but actual moving legislation to get to

a solution does not look like it's

moving. And remember, the last

government shutdown was 43 days. We've

now crushed into the second month. And u

even these lines are not moving action

as far as we can tell at this hour.
