FAQ
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. You install it with one line (or upload a ZIP to Claude.ai), then ask in plain English. The result is a file you double-click to open in your browser.
Is it really free?+
Yes. The skill is free and open source under the MIT license. Transcripts are free for 10 videos a month on YouTubeTranscript.dev, or free anytime if you paste the transcript yourself. You need Claude (Claude.ai, Claude Code) or another AI agent to run it.
Will it make things up?+
It's built not to. Every number and quote must come from the transcript and links to its timestamp so you can check it. The AI's own interpretation is labeled "Analysis".
Can I get it as PowerPoint or Google Slides?+
Click the PDF button to save a PDF, which imports into both. The live HTML version keeps the clickable timestamps.
What kinds of videos work best?+
Founder interviews, product teardowns, conference talks, podcasts, and marketing breakdowns. Any video with captions in 100+ languages works.
