FAQ
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. You install it with one line (or upload a ZIP to Claude.ai), then ask in plain English. The result is a file you double-click to open in your browser.
Is it really free?+
Yes. The skill is free and open source under the MIT license. Transcripts are free for 10 videos a month on YouTubeTranscript.dev, or free anytime if you paste the transcript yourself. You need Claude (Claude.ai, Claude Code) or another AI agent to run it.
Can I share the course with students or my team?+
Yes. Send the HTML file, put it in Google Drive or your LMS, or host it on any website. Everyone's progress is saved privately in their own browser.
Can it use more than one video?+
Yes. Paste several links and they become one course.
Will it make things up?+
It's built not to. The course only teaches what the video says, and every key claim links to its timestamp.
Ideas: what you can make with it
An onboarding course from your company's videos
Turn all-hands recordings, product demos, and founder talks into an interactive onboarding course new hires actually finish.
An exam study guide from a lecture series
Turn recorded lectures into a course with quizzes, flashcards, and a cheat sheet, the night before the exam or the month before.
