After a catastrophic weekend in federal

0:02

politics, Alberta's leader stands tall

0:04

to announce that changes are coming to

0:06

Alberta and they are now officially in

0:08

the hands of the people. Let's get into

0:10

it right now.

0:13

After this last weekend in federal

0:15

politics, of course, yes, I'm talking

0:18

about the NDP leadership convention.

0:20

It's very apparent that this country is

0:22

in a bit of a tail spin. It's uh it's

0:24

falling fast. If you've seen large

0:26

channels on the internet covering what

0:29

happened at the NDP convention,

0:30

including those like Asmin Gold, Libs of

0:32

Tik Tok, etc., join me live tonight on

0:35

the channel. I'll be going through with

0:37

Matt and Mike, my other two co-hosts,

0:39

all of the clips, all of the savagery

0:42

that went on. In fact, there are so many

0:45

memes going around now and AI videos

0:47

about the convention. I don't even know

0:50

what's real and what's fake anymore.

0:52

It's that bad. It's that bad. For

0:54

anybody who needs a refresher, and yes,

0:56

folks, if I've got to see it, you do,

0:58

too.

0:59

This is why the country is in turmoil.

1:02

This is why things are about to get

1:03

significantly worse. You had Nahed Neni

1:07

come out yesterday trying to distance

1:09

himself from from this event. It's not

1:13

going to happen. It's not going to

1:15

happen. In fact, I'll bring that up

1:16

later in the video. First, let's take a

1:18

little recap in case you missed

1:20

yesterday's video. Here's what took

1:22

place in Winnipeg over the weekend.

1:24

>> Pronouns he him. Uh point of

1:26

information.

1:27

>> What information do you seek, delegate?

1:29

>> Uh can can I ask an election about or

1:33

can I ask a question about executive

1:34

elections to the chair?

1:37

>> As I understand it, what more election

1:40

results we have are going to be

1:41

announced at the end of the day?

1:44

>> First off, why are they talking like

1:46

they're playing a game of Dungeons and

1:47

Dragons? Can anybody can anybody fill me

1:50

in on that? like this is supposed to be

1:52

a political party. It's supposed to be a

1:55

political party. And before I weigh in

1:57

on that, you guys remember I said

1:58

yesterday in the video I made I made a

2:00

an error in the way I put things

2:02

together. I said that the NDP was

2:03

founded by Jack Leighton. What what I

2:06

essentially meant was the NDP's values,

2:08

what they really stood up for, uh the

2:10

momentum that they gained was

2:11

essentially founded by Jack Leighton.

2:15

Look at this 2011 election. 166 seats

2:18

for Steven Harper.

2:20

4 for the NDP, only 34 for the Liberals.

2:23

My how things have changed over time,

2:25

haven't they? This was a pro labor

2:27

party. This was a workingass

2:30

party that was fighting for equity, if

2:33

we can even use that word anymore,

2:35

within the working class. So, no, Jack

2:37

Leighton did not found the NDPs, but

2:40

essentially their principles, their

2:42

strongest point in politics, uh their

2:45

mantra, so to speak. But then they go to

2:47

a Dungeons and Dragons convention and

2:49

race cards get played, equity cards get

2:51

played, gender equity cards, you name

2:54

it. It was a It was a three- ring

2:55

circus.

2:56

>> I have a point of information for the

2:58

elections committee.

2:59

>> The elections committee has gone to do

3:01

balloting and they're not available to

3:03

answer your questions.

3:04

>> Thank you, chair.

3:05

>> Sorry. Microphone four, are you on a

3:07

point?

3:10

>> Point of order. Robert Ali he they my

3:13

understanding as an equity seeking

3:16

delegate is that these cards are to help

3:19

the chair hear equity seeking persons

3:21

and that we don't only hear from white

3:24

male delegates. Now, this is my first

3:27

convention, but so I could be wrong, but

3:31

the reason my the reason for my concern

3:34

is that yesterday during the housing

3:36

resolution after a white man spoke,

3:40

someone at this mic waved their equity

3:42

card only to be only to give their

3:45

speaking spot to a white man.

3:48

>> Yep.

3:49

>> Yeah. As as Alberta Proud Dad's about to

3:52

say. Uh yeah, that happened. It's not

3:55

even a joke. It's not even a joke,

3:57

folks. A joke took place in Winnipeg.

3:59

But it's it's if anything, folks, we've

4:02

gone full MAGA. Make asylums great

4:05

again. When are we as a society going to

4:08

get to the point that we start telling

4:09

these people to shut up? The new leader

4:11

of the NDP, uh, Avi Lewis, the new the

4:14

new leader of the NDP, um, well, he

4:17

makes it known full on what what their

4:19

part is going to move on, uh, going

4:21

forward. that convention is going to

4:23

carry on in federal politics. Uh take a

4:26

look here. Not a Canadian flag in sight.

4:29

In fact, a Palestine flag waving in the

4:31

background as he is elected leader of

4:34

the federal NDP.

4:38

A Palestine flag for a Canadian federal

4:41

party. How how are we supposed to take

4:43

this country seriously anymore, folks?

4:45

In fact, this is one of the biggest

4:46

reasons I now advocate for Alberta

4:49

independence is we don't want to be a

4:50

part of the asylum anymore.

4:52

It's funny because even the NDP leader

4:55

in Alberta, Nahed Nenshi, is now pro-

4:57

independence. Uh, no, not directly, but

5:00

we're going to get into it. Uh, Nenshit

5:03

came out right after this this decision

5:06

was made, um, as soon as a Lewis came

5:09

out and said that uh, he's essentially

5:11

going to lobby against any future

5:13

pipelines in this country. And I'm going

5:15

to play you the clip because people

5:18

thought news outlets were reporting that

5:19

he scaled it back after talking to Neni

5:22

after uh talking with all western

5:26

premers or not premers but uh delegates

5:30

to run for the NDP

5:33

party leaders I guess we'll say.

5:37

As soon as that came out that they

5:38

started to walk it back on mainstream

5:39

media to say that oh god he didn't mean

5:41

what he said. Uh yeah, he did and and he

5:43

came out in a press conference after

5:44

that. We're going to show um today Nahid

5:47

Neni says the federal new democratic

5:49

party selected its new leader. It's

5:52

clear that the direction of the federal

5:53

party under this new leader, someone who

5:55

openly cheered for the defeat of the

5:57

Alberta NDP government is not in the

5:59

interests of Alberta. H yet you

6:02

represent their party. Last year,

6:04

Alberta's New Democrats voted

6:05

overwhelmingly to make membership in the

6:07

federal party optional. So he's

6:09

distancing himself and making a boy. Hey

6:11

guys, we don't want anything to do with

6:12

these guys. Many thousands of our

6:14

provincial members, including myself,

6:16

are not members of the federal party. We

6:18

are a big tent and welcome to support

6:21

everyone who will vote for the federal

6:22

party. We believe in Alberta and we

6:24

believe in Canadian energy and the good

6:27

jobs it creates. really

6:30

really even though the NDP has shut down

6:34

every energy product and every energy

6:36

policy ever introduced in Alberta,

6:39

we believe in more pipelines and in

6:41

reducing emissions. We believe in strong

6:43

public services and strong jobsdriven

6:47

uh economy to help pay for them. This is

6:49

what we're fighting for every day. Well,

6:52

so are we, Neni. I guess this means, as

6:56

the most Albertan lawyer, Keith Wilson

6:58

says, "I guess this means we're all in

7:00

the same boat." I guess this means Neni

7:03

backs independence, doesn't it?

7:08

We all want the same thing. More

7:10

pipelines, better jobs, and a and a and

7:12

a job driven economy. Fantastic. Well,

7:15

uh, Abby Lewis comes out and says, "Uh,

7:18

no, we're not going to have that.

7:20

We're not going to have that." At his

7:22

first presser postNDP caucus meeting,

7:24

Abby Lewis doesn't appear interested in

7:26

compromise on his anti-Canadian oil and

7:28

gas production policies

7:30

figures the largest mandate for any NDP

7:33

leadership race in history. Again, uh

7:35

given the clowns who elected him, that

7:36

doesn't say much, gives him the right.

7:40

Avy leads the charge to turn NDP minivan

7:42

party into a bicycle made for two party.
