Why I Keep Using This Drone | HoverAir X1 Pro Max

The easiest way to think about the XON

Pro Max is this. It's not really a

traditional drone first. It's more like

a flying camera. Just bring it along.

This is honestly my favorite part. You

take it out of your pocket, place it

down, press a button, and that's it.

Close it up. No overthinking.

That sounds simple, and it actually

changes how you shoot.

Normally, you would interrupt the moment

to capture it.

But with this, you kind of [music] stay

in the moment and it captures it for

you.

And that's a pretty nice shift.

When I was hiking through the [music]

forest, this is where it really clicked

for me. You don't want to stop every few

minutes, set something up. You just want

to keep walking.

So instead of planning shots, you just

grab them along the way.

And the footage feels more natural, less

staged.

Almost like someone else was there

filming you. Even so, it's just you and

this little flying thing.

If you're creating content on your

Because a lot of times you're just out

there [music] by yourself. You either

get the shot or you don't. With this,

you don't really have to think about it.

You just start moving and it captures

those moments as you go. Walking shots,

little transitions, just being in a

motion, the kind of stuff that makes a

video feel more alive.

Another thing that's actually really

useful, you can shoot in 8K. So even if

the framing isn't perfect, you've got

room to crop in, reframe, or adjust the

shot later, which gives you a bit more

flexibility, especially when you're

doing everything on your own.

And in the end, it's less about getting

the perfect shot and more about getting

the shot in the first place.

Something I didn't expect at first,

you can use it indoors.

And it actually does a pretty solid job

following you.

Which means you can get moving shots

anywhere indoors.

keep it simple. Don't try to over-direct

it.

Follow mode is your best friend. That's

where it feels most natural.

Give it a bit of space, especially

control it, the better the result tends

to be,
