Good afternoon students.

>> Thank you, Lord for this wonderful

opportunity. Lord, I pray that as we

have this class that you will clear our

minds, Lord, that we will remain focused

on today's class. I also declare a

blessing, Lord, on person that is giving

us class today. Lord, I thank you for

the knowledge that that you are

providing to us through Dr. Bart. Lord,

I I just bless him in the name of Jesus.

I cover this entire class with the blood

of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and I

declare that same blessing over every

>> Ok. Thank you. Yeah, thank you once

again for everyone attending tonight and

uh I hope that from this course you've

learned something uh pertaining to the

body, soul and spirit. Last week we did

look in depth on um what is happening uh

you know in conjunction with the the uh

the soul and also what happens in the

body because you see Satan a lot of

times wants to trap us. trap us in a

situation that we that we fall into

those traps where we don't know how to

get out of those problem situations. But

the Bible is is actually accommodating

us. The Bible is giving us a lot of

information

and help to get through these

situations. Now tonight I want to speak

to you about what is happening between

the soul's dimension and the spirit

dimension.

So um if we look at a Bible verse like

in 2 Corinthians 10 from verse 3 to 5 it

says for that we walk in the flesh we

are not carrying out our warfare

according to the flesh and using mere

human weapons. For the weapons of

warfare are not physical, weapons of

flesh and blood, but they are mighty

before God for the uh overthrow and

destruction of strongholds.

Inas we refute arguments and theories

and reason and every proud and lofty

thing that set itself up against the

true knowledge of God. And we lean every

uh lead every thought and purpose away

captive in obedience of Christ the

Messiah. The

We a lot of times have got thoughts.

Remember I said to you last week and I

basically ended um or the week before

and I ended it off last week we did the

three levels of stress but the week

before I ended it off by saying there

are four types types of of voices that

we listen to.

The first voice that we hear uh is our

own voice. See, and a lot of people in a

great sense wants to easily um say it is

the devil

um and it's a devil's fault. They want

to do the blame shift, blame game. Now,

if we go by right back to the beginning

of the Bible,

that comes from Adam. Because if you

read in the beginning of the Bible when

God created Eve and uh when Adam saw

Eve, his his remarks or his words were

to God, she's the flesh from my flesh,

the bone of my bone.

And then sin came into their life. And

it's quite interesting and I'm we going

to speak tonight what basically happened

in that process. But um when sin came in

into his life and God said to him,

"Adam, what did you do?" Paraphrasing

now, Adam said, "It is that woman you

gave me." Can you see that is the blame

game already in the Garden of Eden. And

up to now today, when things go wrong in

our life, we play the blame game. It's

easy for us to do that because that is

our scapegate. Because that is the first

voice that you normally listen to. It's

your own voice.

So be careful what you think. And this

is why I read this this portion in the

Bible is that we must take captive every

thought and submit it under Christ

so that our thoughts cannot lead us into

a situation that we cannot get out of.

Einstein said um and I just wantan to

get that quote right. But Einstein

mentioned he says that logic will take

you from A to B.

But your imagination will take you

anyway.

So we must be very careful for your

imagination of what it which places it

takes us to. So the second voice that we

listen to, another voice that we listen

to is obviously God's voice through the

Holy Spirit in us. The Holy Spirit

speaks to us in different ways. He

speaks to us through people. He speaks

to us through nature. He speaks to us um

through the Bible and he speaks directly

into our spirit as well. Okay, we're

going to deal with that as well tonight.

Um so it's important that we identify

which voice is speaking to you. And then

the other voice that speaks to you as I

said is technology.

And unfortunately there are a lot of

people that are uh so glue to this

technology cell phones. Was just

something that uh quite a few months

ago. My wife and I we went to Galeria

Mall here in Amstent and uh we were

walking back from having dinner in the

evening and we walk past a um well-known

restaurant in in the mall.

There were a lot of young people and I'm

saying people that's in their mid 30s to

40s they were sitting there and they

were um all on their cell phones. Now I

stopped because that just amazed me. I

stopped and they were 12. I counted

them. They were 12 and everyone was on

their cell phone. Now that's my

question.

Why bother going out? Why going with

your friends on dinner to a dinner if

you are sitting next to a table and

texting each other? Cell phones and

technology has made this world very very

small.

But not only that, um, it actually takes

you into a position a lot of times that

you must not be. Remember I said,

Einstein said logic will take you from A

to B, but your imagination will take you

anywhere. and your cell phone will

assist you in all of that. So be careful

of technology in your life.

If we say, and I'm just running myself

ahead of say that we put the armor of

God on us

and we don't allow the armor of God to

work in our life as you're putting it

on. Because if we have got the armor of

God on us, if there's a negative thought

coming into my mind, into my soul's

dimension, and I don't stand against it,

if I don't take that thought captive and

I submit it under Christ, that helmets

of salvation doesn't mean anything to

me.

So we need to make sure that that when I

put my helmet salvation, my breastplate

of righteousness and my belt of truth

and my sword and the shoes and whatever

I put on that whatever comes to me I

must utilize that um uh armor of God so

that I can withstand the devil. And this

is where um James 4 verse um 7 comes in.

He says uh and this is what we hear a

lot. We stand a devil and he will fear

from you. But you see that is only a

half truth in in the Bible because

if you withstand a devil in your own

power, you're not going to make it. So

it's important that when we read that

whole scripture in its fullness, that

scripture if you quote it correctly, it

says submit yourself under Christ

withstand the devil and will flee from

you. So once you are submitting in the

Christ and the devil has got no

authority. Remember I said last week to

you we are fighting from a place not to
