V-Copter Falcon (2 Armed Drone) Flight Review IN-DEPTH - How Good is it REALLY?! [BONUS CRASH TEST]

so it's it's almost like

somebody hanging off handlebars isn't it

kind of neat hey guys thanks for tuning

in check it out it's the v copter falcon

by zero zero robotics by copter that has

a huge amount of flight time because it

only has two motors and two propellers

so anyway we're going to put this thing

up in the air we're going to go through

a full-on flight setup and just show you

what this v-copter is all about and how

good it really is let's get started

when this thing is actually getting

ready to fly it's a little bit top heavy

right so they give you this little brace

if you want

i've tried a few times in my yard and

didn't really need this it seems like if

it's not too windy it's able to kind of

land on its stock little battery there a

little bit of a con here the case can't

really fit the controller so you have to

have your controller separate i went

ahead and was able to put the controller

cable for your phone just right in here

it does fit in there nicely but it would

have been nice if they maybe made an

option i'm not sure if they do yet for

like a bag or something so you're gonna

have to have your own bag pull out the

v-copter you can pull the arms up

without pushing in this button but you

can't put them down without pushing in

this button so just really be careful

that you don't want to break anything

pull them up and you're going to hear

this click and that's basically how you

pull the arms up you're going to want to

make sure you have an sd card in here on

the side i do have like a 64 or 32 gig

card in there for you so here it is

we've got two sensors in the front for

supposed obstacle avoidance we're going

to test all that

battery is already in but this is how it

clips in there's your high capacity

battery

it is fully charged and so you just want

to make sure

that thing is in and these two sides are

clipped in taking off the gimbal cover

actually a pretty good little gimbal

cover nothing special but it does slide

in fairly easily

and then it does hold that whole camera

in there nice and tight so that thing's

not going anywhere in transportation so

that's really all you have to do you

don't even have to bring these motors up

parallel it's going to do all that in

the startup process but if you want to

i'd recommend just kind of opening them

up and then just spreading the

propellers just so

it gives it a little easier time to spin

up these propellers but basically that's

it the drone is already set up ready for

takeoff getting our controller out next

we want our

antennas to be pushed out that way this

phone clamp just comes all the way

around to the front

we have our little sticks in the back of

the controller for our thumb sticks

um this controller maybe a little bit of

um not the best quality it seems like

they spent like all the time and money

on the drone and then the controller

they really didn't spend that much time

and money and design on the controller

it's not bad but it's not really up to

par with some of the higher end drones

putting in our phone here so it has

these little clamps so if you have a

smaller phone you can

flip these down if you needed to

or

you can just

use the clamp as it is you're going to

want to watch out for your power and

volume buttons because it looks like

this clamp does not really have a groove

for those things so it's going to push

buttons if you're not careful now this

thing does not come with a

ipad or iphone lightning cable so you're

going to have to get your own on that if

you want to use it another con with this

thing is look at this huge cable i don't

need this long of a cable

just to hook in my phone so it would

have been nice if they had maybe an

option for a shorter cable if you have a

shorter cable at home so you don't have

this thing hanging around where you

might hit it and disconnect

on accident so anyway phone's on the

controller this is ready to go turning

on the controller real simple just click

and hold the power button here

until you hear a beep

and you see the lights come up on the

controller same thing with the drone the

power button on the drone here is on the

front top so you just press and hold it

that thing comes on

and that gimbal

hopefully you can see that

it's doing its little boot up process

and we're waiting for that little light

there to turn green there we go i felt

the vibration in the controller

and also heard a beep on the drone that

means everything is booted up and ready

to go and then we'll plug in here

so there we go plugged in

you can see that it automatically

launches i do have the hubsan app in

here too don't want it to auto launch

the hubsan kind of goes through this

tutorial on how to open the thing up and

close it while it's kind of locking on

to gps satellites i'm going to press me

here and this is kind of your account

it's bound to your phone number it also

has kind of like the same features the

dji fly app has

where you can see all your

flights find my drone see if we click on

that there

basically shows you where you are and so

you can you can do that what i did

notice is

there's no total flight time none of

this stuff is working right now you see

this flight data it looks like that

doesn't work but flight records do work

you can see how i have a few flight

records here just kind of

messing around in my yard making sure

the thing flies and stuff anyway we're

at the screen where it says let's go so

let's go ahead and start this up

and i'm just pressing let's go and it

immediately gets you to this choose

flight mode so i'm just going to do

manual control you can see over on the

left we have omni follow then over on

the right it seems like the track shots

which is going to be probably equivalent

to quick shots so we're going to do that

those two after we do manual control so

just clicking in the middle

immediately see that we have some video

pop up

and let's get this thing up in the air i

just want to make sure that um i do have

the right camera settings and stuff so

we're shooting in 4k resolution i just

pressed on the top right there on the

camera as you can see i have a 60 gig

card in there

uh let's start the recording here just

by pressing on the screen

and let's go ahead and take off now

remember uh this does have a map as well

so clicking on the map here

and this is where we can kind of choose

our satellite map as well so i want to

kind of bring that in

i'm in up country maui

let's see if all this kind of there we

go so it's doing street maps and then

it's overlaying with uh

the satellite imagery it looks like it

takes a while this is just basically

using my cell phone

data right now to bring that in so
