>> Where do you see the filming part?
video part
>> All right guys, roaming the floors at
CES
2026. I did not expect to see
Hover Air here. And if you guys know
Hover Air,
you guys know this little camera here.
This is the Pro Max. Yeah, this is the
8K version. The Pro Max. This is the one
I have at home. This thing, as far as
follow me functions, is an absolute
beast. And I was introduced to this a
little while back, and this is the very
first time, as far as like a public
event, that they are displaying this one
right now. This is the Hover Air Aqua.
Now, the one thing I really like about
this drone, which actually surprised me,
because when I first saw it, I did not
think it would actually be under 250 g.
So, this thing comes in at 249 g, which
means if you are in areas that have
regulations as far as being over 250 g,
where you normally have to register it
with the FAA,
you don't need to register this one. Of
course, you still have to abide by all
the standard FAA rules. Now, of course,
what makes this thing special? Well, as
you can see here, it is fully
waterproof. We just did a couple demos
here at the booth, and yes, you're able
to fly this drone. So, if you're out
there on the lake, on the river, and
you're out there paddle boarding, uh
stand up paddle, or even maybe even try
surfing, we'll see as far as how good
it's going to track, and how fast it can
track you. But, this thing is fully
waterproof, so you're able to take it
off, have the drone follow you. If it
does touch the water, or go down in the
water, or even if it goes upside down,
we tested it here. You can actually just
flip on turtle mode, and once you launch
the drone back up again, it'll flip over
and start flying normally. Now, when it
comes down to flight time, they are
rating this thing to go about 23
minutes. That's rated, of course. Now,
we'll see how much actual flight time
there is once we get this thing up in
the air. And the one thing that
surprised me, level seven wind
resistance. Some of the drones out there
most of the standard drones out there
are only at level five. So, being level
seven actually was a surprise to me that
this thing can take on a little bit more
wind than some of the other drones. Now,
one of the questions I had as far as
controlling the drone, now I don't have
a remote control, I don't have or I
don't want to have my mobile phone out
there with me. Might get wet. They have
this right here, which is a beacon. So,
you just put this onto your shoulder.
You can have the You have the controls
right here, so you can switch the modes.
So, this is the lighthouse. You can put
it on your arm, and then you can push
press one button, it takes off
automatically from the water, and then
it follows you. And in case you need to
um adjust the position of the camera,
you can also press here. There's a
little controlling um panel here that
you can adjust where the the camera can
fly. And press one more button, it flies
back to you and lands back to the water.
When it comes to the connection and
transmission, we're using the RTK
technology to connect the lighthouse and
the flying camera Aqua. Um
this RTK technology is a much more
accurate um technology than GPS to um
allow you to detect a centimeter level
of accuracy. Um even if on the ocean, um
if they lose connections, for example,
like it will also be supported by the
computer vision that can continue to
follow you just like what we did in the
Pro Max. So, this is a multi-source of
um data to make sure that Aqua connects
to very accurately whatever you do on
the water. There's a bunch of different
intelligent flight modes on this drone.
So, if you want to do things like we
have flat shot, we have spiral, bird's
eye, orbit, zoom out, hover. I mean, all
of those same modes, if you guys like I
said, if you're familiar with the Hover
Air, the Pro Pro Max versions, they have
a bunch of those modes here, and then
they also have
sup mode, which is stand up paddle mode.
They have all of those water sports
modes on this thing. They have, I
believe, about 10 or 10 or more
different intelligent flight modes on
the Aqua. Now, when it comes to video
resolution, this camera here has a 1
over 1.3 in sensor, capable of 4K up to
100 frames a second. And when we're
talking about tracking, the Aqua is
rated to go up to 34 mph. Like I said,
we'll definitely have to test that out.
I don't know how fast I'm going to be
able to get on the water. The one thing
that's really nice is that this is a
production unit. This is a ready to go,
at least this one is the final version,
which is really cool. I think they had
another show where they were just
showing uh one that was a pre-production
unit, but these are going to be shipping
soon. They didn't give me an exact date
on when it's going to be shipping, but
they said very soon. It is a in the
Indiegogo um campaign that was um put on
for the Aqua, but excited to hopefully
get my unit soon, so I can test this out
in the water. Again, if you guys want
more information about the Aqua and the
Hover Air Pro Max and all their other
drones, I'll leave their information
down below in the video description.
