The Feds Catch Ilhan Omar Red-Handed — She Completely SNAPS

Welcome back to Explain America. This is

following the saga of Ilhan Omar for

some time here at Explain America, and

there was a major blowup when she was

confronted about the latest controversy

that is really causing people to scratch

their heads. Now, this has to do with

her listing her finances at nearly $30

million and then, well, backtracking in

an inexplicable manner. So before we get

journalism. Now, Ilhan Omar is

implicated in the Somali fraud scheme up

in the state of Minnesota and it appears

that she just couldn't help herself. She

appears to have been engaging in fraud

herself because that's the conclusion

that many people are coming to after she

stated her net worth was only between

$16,000 and $95,000.

That comes as a correction to previous

estimates of her net worth as

approximately $30 million.

Well, another day and another headline

about a certain congresswoman's not so

stellar record of honesty and

competence. Last year, Ilhan Omar's

financial disclosure revealed

skyrocketing wealth. It showed a

whopping net worth of up to $30 million,

a 30 a 3,500%

increase in wealth compared to just two

years prior. Now she's trying to

convince the world that she's actually

only worth $95,000.

Still quite a jump from two years ago.

But in an eyepopping revision of her

disclosure, uh, Ms. Omar is saying the

multi-million dollar discrepancy was

nothing more than an accounting error.

In what world is a multi-billion dollar

correction to a person's financial

disclosure considered normal? Perhaps uh

this member's accountant, perhaps

Ilhan's accountant is a graduate from

the Quality Learing Center. Either way,

this about face shows incompetence at

best and a cover up at worse. But this

is just the latest in a long list of

head turning stories relating to this

member from Minnesota. Ilhan cannot

escape accountability much longer.

Investigations are ongoing in House

committees. The Trump administration has

waged war on fraud. Her ties to

convicted Feeding Our Future fraudsters

are well documented. And her defense of

these criminals who stole billions from

hardworking taxpayers makes it very

clear where her allegiance stands. Make

no mistake, if Elhan Omar is discovered

to have been involved in any or to have

benefited in any way from any fraud, she

must be held accountable to the fullest

extent. And by the way, that includes

marriage fraud. I yield to our leader.

>> Now, we know all about the backstory of

that, don't we? Because uh she was

engaged in such activities as a

so-called winery.

And uh people have gone to this winery

to try to figure out what is going on

there. But her husband obviously has

been uh doing quite well ever since

Ilhan Omar went to Congress. And this is

a familiar story. It's not limited to

her. There are plenty of similar cases,

but Ilhan Omar is a lightning rod for

all of this scrutiny because she cannot

help herself. She runs her mouth and is

one of the most anti-American voices in

all of the Congress. But the Minnesota

fraud scandal is looming over her large

and so is her latest revising of her

finances. So what was she using? Some

kind of pirated accounting software uh

such as I don't know quick crooks. I

don't know. It's very popular in

Somalia, I heard. So Ilhan Omar was

confronted by Lindell TV and she

absolutely lost it. Uh weigh in with her

thoughts after this video. We always

Omar, the last time I spoke to you, you

said that I was stupid for asking you

about your financial uh disclosure, but

there's some discrepancies on there.

Would you like to explain them? How did

you make such a big mistake?

>> Absolutely. You're stupid for asking me

anything.

>> I have. Yes. Well, what about the

American people who are wondering how

you made such a big mistake?

>> You have to explain to the American

people.

>> What's the explanation?

>> I have given them the explanation.

>> Do you want to tell our viewers cuz

they're

>> I don't want to tell you jack

>> How about that?

>> Okay.

>> Okay. Have a good day.

>> Thank you.

on Omar's aids tell the Wall Street

Journal that the error in accounting,

that's what they call it, just didn't

jump off the page for her because, you

know, she's not really involved in her

husband's businesses, her husband's many

businesses. How would she know if they

had $18,000 or or $18 million? How how

could she possibly know? Now, a

spokeswoman telling the Wall Street

Journal, telling him this, "The amended

disclosure confirms that what we've said

all along. The congresswoman is not a

millionaire. The congresswoman amended

her disclosures voluntarily as soon as

the discrepancy was identified." That's

quite a discrepancy they've got there.

While a lawyer, she shouldn't be in

charge of anything money related as a

member of Congress. the listen she

representing the a lawyer representing

the congresswoman uh says that the

inaccurate filing was not intentional it

was entirely accidental and the lawyer

said as the busiest of people it is very

common for members and their spouses to

rely on learned professionals like

accountants to make calculations and

determinations that appear on public

filings while the error is of course

unfortunate there is Nothing unourred

and nothing illegal has occurred. That's

what the lawyers say. Now, we're here

with the squad. Let's uh jump right in.

And I got to say, Mercy, what is it?

It's $30 million or it's $18,000.

>> Wow. I mean, what a discrepancy, right?

>> That's a discrepancy.

>> Look, you you're seeing Representative

Omar, she's blaming it on the

accountant. She's like, "It's the

accountant's fault. They shouldn't have

included these liabilities." Whatever

the case may be, when these financial

disclosures, as congressional members

know, people are going to always,

journalists are always going to look

into it to see where there are these

mistakes. It was a huge discrepancy that

again raises the questions of where is

all this money coming from. And uh it

seems that it's the husband's business

with the wineries and God only knows

what else. And so she's really opened up

now, Chris, into possible congressional

investigation into what we can see in

terms of going from the millions of

dollars to the fact that this was now

$18,000.

It's it's it's just fishy. It's too

fishy.

>> So uh Foldi, are are you worth closer to

$30 million or don't ask don't ask

>> or $18,000?

Where where would you put the ballpark?

Well, I'm wearing an $80 suit from

India. So, I think that answers your

question.

>> A really good $80 suit from I did. And

it was $11. So, uh, sadly I am closer to

$18,000. And look, I think there are

quality learing centers everywhere if

you want to look for them. And that's

basically what this entire segment is

about. All of this weird Democrat math.

There's boy math, there's girl math,

there's Democrat math. That's what's

going on here. And one of the things

that's interesting is that uh Ilhan

Omar's team was saying, "See, we've told

you all along she's not a millionaire,
