Bad HeadGirl: Winnie Faces The Pink Lady She Created
FULL TRANSCRIPT
After everything, Winnie did to Hazel,
did she really go scot-free? Of course
not now.
After Hazel became Pink Lady, Winnie
thought she had gone scot-free. Her
parents were rich and they buried the
case. For 2 weeks, everything was smooth
for her. Nothing happened, no
consequences, and no trouble until
Tyler's misfortune [music] started. At
first, she was confused. Why does Tyler
keep getting wounded? What is happening?
Then she noticed something else, Rita.
Rita was always looking at her and
[music] Tyler. Not talking, not
reacting, just watching. And it made
Winnie uncomfortable. But even with
everything happening, she never
suspected that it had anything to do
with Hazel. Because in her mind, Hazel
was poor, Hazel was weak, and Hazel was
broken. So there was no way Hazel could
do anything to her. After so many
strange accidents, Tyler's parents got
involved. They were also rich and they
were not going to sit back and watch
their son keep getting injured. So they
removed him from the school. And that's
when Winnie and the principal began to
see hell. At that point, Winnie's life
had already become something else, a
series of unfortunate events. [music]
But she did not know yet. Pink Lady had
crossed her with both pain [music] and
humiliation. And her own punishment did
not start immediately. It started the
moment she tries to move forward in
life, the moment she tries to leave
secondary school. There was only one way
out. Winnie would be free from Pink
Lady's wrath if she remained in
Community Secondary School forever. But
the moment she tried to step out or make
any move to graduate, she was finished.
But Winnie did not understand or know
this yet.
>> [music]
>> Instead, she became the star girl of
Community Secondary School. Juniors
feared her, her classmates avoided her.
In her mind, she had won. She felt proud
of herself, like she had truly gone free
from what she did to Hazel. But deep
down, something did not feel right.
Sometimes she would feel it, like
someone was watching her, like someone
was following her. And she was right.
Pink Lady was watching.
Immediately Tyler left the school,
Winnie moved on quickly. [music]
And she did something else. Before their
WASCE exam, she snatched Marshall from
Rita. That one hurt Rita deeply. [music]
Because this was the same boy that made
her pay less attention to Hazel. Maybe
if she was not dating Marshall, Hazel
would still be alive. And now [music] he
was dating Winnie. Rita wished she could
summon Pink Lady again, but she
couldn't. She was still enjoying her
life, not knowing everything around her
was already falling apart. [music]
While Winnie was still having the time
of her life, the principal's problem
started. Tyler's parents were not
joking. They wanted answers, real
answers. What was happening to their
son? Why was he constantly getting
injured? They mounted serious pressure
on the school and it did not stop there.
They used their connection to reach the
Commissioner of Education. The pressure
became too much. The principal had no
explanation and this time money could
not save him. He was fired. Losing his
job broke him completely. He resorted to
alcohol, not occasionally, but
constantly. He became a serious drunk.
His life became nothing to write home
about. His wife left him. Everything he
had was gradually sold off. What was
left of his properties was used to pay
off debt that he created from drinking.
[music]
People began to see him on the street
and they would wonder, how did this man
fall like [music] this? A once respected
principal reduced to nothing. But even
with all that was happening around her,
Winnie did not learn. She still did not
see it. She still believed she was
untouchable. In her mind, nothing could
happen to her because she was still in
control. But then, WASCE came, the
examination she needed to write to leave
secondary school and move to the
university. Like every other student,
Winnie believed she also deserved to
write the exam and move on to the
university. She believed her life would
still go exactly the way she planned it.
>> [music]
>> She was the queen of Community Secondary
School after all. But she had no idea
that her attempts to write WASCE would
be the beginning of the collapse of her
life. The nights before the first paper,
Winnie's mother made a move. With the
help of the math teacher, she got
expected questions, questions she had
paid for. And she sent them to Winnie to
help Winnie prepare. But Winnie did not
prepare. Instead, she went to Marshall.
She told him she really liked him and
she wanted them to go to the same
university together and maybe get
married in the future. Marshall was
already dating Rita, but every guy in
the class wanted Winnie. She was the
queen bee. So he did not think twice.
[music] He agreed immediately. Then
Winnie brought out the questions. She
showed him. She asked him to solve them
for her. The next morning, Rita saw
them, Marshall, walking with Winnie. She
was shocked. Marshall knew how much Rita
hated Winnie. And Marshall was supposed
to be Rita's boyfriend. So Rita
confronted them. But Winnie did not let
her talk. She looked at Rita and said,
[music] "Get out or I will do to you
what I did to Hazel." Rita froze. "What
did you do to Hazel? Tell the world."
Rita shouted. Winnie looked at her
[music] and started laughing
mischievously. Marshall just stood
there, confused and embarrassed with
guilt.
Inside the exam hall, Winnie did not
even check if the questions her mother
sent to her were the same questions in
the exam booklet. She just started
writing [music] exactly what Marshall
had solved for her into her answer
booklet. So Winnie cheated, but she was
not caught. And it worked. The next
paper, the same thing. Her mother sent
questions, Marshall solved them, and she
copied in the exam hall. It became a
system. One paper, two papers, and she
did this successfully for five papers.
Winnie became very confident, too
confident. But then came the sixth
paper. This time she was caught. The
principal, who used to collect money
from her father, was no longer there. So
things were different now. Immediately
she was caught, she tries to shift the
blame. She told the invigilator and the
new principal, "It's Marshall, he's my
boyfriend. He's the one that solved it
for me. He's the one that gave me what
to use to cheat." She wanted to pass the
blame onto Marshall. The paper she was
using to cheat was [music] collected and
compared to Marshall's current
handwriting and answer booklet. And it
did not match. Marshall had been playing
her. He used her questions to practice
and intentionally [music]
tweaked his handwriting because he knew
she was going to take what he had solved
for her into the exam hall to cheat and
that could implicate him. The
handwriting he used to solve her
questions was completely different from
his real exam handwriting. Marshall
denied everything Winnie said. He said
he did not know Winnie aside from the
fact that she was his [music] classmate.
He even said he had never had a
girlfriend throughout his stay in
secondary school. Winnie stood there in
shock, exposed and embarrassed. And
Rita, Rita watched everything and she
couldn't help but laugh. The new
principal did not protect Winnie, not
like the former one. She was made to
sign a malpractice form and that meant
that she's banned from writing WASCE for
