Gavin Newsom Says The Unthinkable After WHCD Shooting - He Must Resign

And Gavin Newsom is doing a tremendously

horrible job of trying to create a

campaign for himself to be the next

president of the United States.

And he just did something else

ridiculous again.

While other Democrats,

Nancy Pelosi included,

were saying, "We're glad the president

is safe tonight, that nothing happened

to the president because it is very

obvious who the target of the attack

was."

Gavin Newsom, who is so desperate, so

desperate to win the Democrat primary,

that's what you have to understand to

start this story.

>> He's so desperate to win the Democrat

primary that he couldn't say that.

He's so desperate to win the Democrat

primary and to do that,

you've got to be ultra-progressive.

Cuz that's who comes out to the

primaries, the most hardcore of people.

You can't act like a reasonable person.

And so, what Gavin Newsom said is,

"You know, the the the attack on the

free press. The free press is so

important." The free press wasn't

targeted, you fool, and you know that.

The president was targeted, not the free

press.

You would have been better off saying

nothing,

you gloriously delusional Ken doll,

than what you wound up saying.

But you are, for all intents and

purposes, a doll, a puppet,

a

perfectly [snorts] crafted machine,

designed

to be a politician your whole life, bred

to be exactly what you are.

You're really no better than a

Frankenstein.

You're a creation.

I Do you Do you even have real emotions,

real thoughts?

You're just a machine that goes about

your day saying what you know you're

supposed to say. And even then,

even then you mess it up. I want you to

watch this and let me know what you

The US attorney says that suspect will

be facing firearms and assault charges.

Washington, D.C. police say they believe

the suspect was a guest at the hotel.

The intended target again tonight is

unknown and there is no danger to the

public. Governor Newsom, who was not in

attendance for tonight's dinner, posted

this statement on X just a short time

ago saying, "Quote, relieved everyone at

the White House Correspondents Dinner is

safe tonight based on initial reports. A

free press is foundational to our

country. Violence is never acceptable."

And Nancy Pelosi also posting on X

saying, "Quote, it is a great relief

that the president, first lady, and

everyone in attendance at the White

House Correspondents Dinner is safe

following a terrifying act of violence

inside the venue. The brave men and

women of the United States Secret

Service and local law enforcement are to

be commended for their swift action to

secure the scene and protect those

present. As someone whose family has

suffered political violence, my prayers

are with the injured officer and all

those affected by the trauma of these

horrible incidents."

Joining me now is KTVU political analyst

Brian Sobel. Brian, thank you for being

here with me tonight. The president said

that it was, quote, "Not a particularly

secure building." What do you make of

that? I know you have experience with

that hotel. Yes. Uh Christine, I've been

in that building many, many times over

the years. It's the place, actually, on

the outside of it, where um uh

Ronald Reagan uh was almost assassinated

by Hinckley. And so, it's a place where

lots of meetings occur. I've I've been

in that ballroom with a president, with

many other people over the years. The

ballroom holds It's a massive ballroom.

It holds probably a thousand people. But

more importantly, Christine, at a

remember, is that this is a working

hotel in in downtown Washington, D.C.

with over a thousand rooms. And as I

suspected and then we heard, uh this

person checked into the hotel probably a

day or a couple of days early uh and was

laying in wait. And that's the problem

with trying to secure a hotel of that
