Senate Passes It 50 - 48 - Schumer Has Mental Breakdown

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is

Things are heating up in the world.

Things are heating up here at home. And

one of the biggest things that's heating

up is the Senate finally passed it.

Democrats, including Schumer, absolutely

furious because they're powerless to

stop it. What is it? Let's get right to

it, but before we get started, please

The government shutdown or partial

government shutdown has been going on

for a long long time.

You've seen the TSA lines at the

airport. You've seen

travelers just beside themselves. And

you see the Senate on the Democrat side

that simply doesn't care.

Republicans have chosen not to back

down, and I commend that.

They haven't given in to the Democrats'

ridiculous demands to stop funding an

agency that worked during the Obama

administration, worked during the first

Trump administration, worked during the

administration of George uh George W.

Bush, and is working now, and that is

ICE. In fact, CNN did a whole exposé on

how great ICE was doing in the sanctuary

city of Chicago when Obama was

president. And how it was wrong

for sanctuary cities to not cooperate

with with ICE during the Obama

presidency. Did a whole piece on this.

Now suddenly ICE is evil. Well, the

Senate passed it 50 to 48 yesterday to

move forward with a package to fund ICE

and Border Patrol through the end of

Trump's term

to the tune of about $120 billion.

Now, it will be put up for final

passage, where it will most likely

receive the same 50 votes, not enough to

pass it, but it'll be during

reconciliation,

and that's when J.D. Vance will come in

and break the tie and pass it, and

Democrats know they can't stop it. And

now Schumer's having a mental breakdown

about this.

And actually, it's quite comical. I want

you to watch it and let me know what you

This vote, the yeas are 50, the nays are

48, and the concurrent resolution as

amended is agreed to.

This is the minority leader.

Mr. President, tonight Senate

Republicans showed the American people

where they stand.

Not for families struggling with the

high cost of child care, groceries,

gasoline, electricity,

but for pumping $140 billion towards

towards rogue agencies.

All night long, we gave the Republicans

a chance to do the right thing

by voting for our amendments.

We vote We gave Republicans a chance to

vote for an amendment to lower

out-of-pocket health care costs. They

said no.

We gave Republicans a chance to lower

child care costs. They said no.

We gave Republicans a chance to stop

insurance company delays, to protect

school meals, to give people a hand at

the grocery store, and Republicans said

no, no, and no again.

What kind of bubble are they living in?

How apart are they from people's real

needs? And instead, take that money

which should have gone to lowering

people's costs and giving to an agency

that everyone knows needs reform.

Republicans can rest assured

that when reconciliation comes back up

in a few weeks, they're going to have to

face these votes again.

Republic Democrats will make sure that

they do.

We will continue to force vote after

vote on the most pressing issue facing

Americans today,

their high high all-too-high costs.

Democrats are going to hold Republicans'

feet to the fire because the American

people demand it.

The American people are hurting right

now

because of the soaring cost of living.

And that's why it's so important that

Democrats continue to force Republicans

to take these votes and go on the record

about their disastrous agenda. I yield
