Claude + CapCut = INSANE Animations (Full Workflow)

I've been able to create some of the

most premium looking motion graphics

I've ever made, all without actually

editing. The crazier part is they take a

matter of minutes to make, but you have

to have the knowledge to learn how to do

that. And I wasted weeks of trial and

error and credits to show you exactly

how to do that. So, let's create some

premium looking motion graphics all in

Claude without being a pro editor. So,

we're first going to start with some

free uses of Claude. You don't have to

have a subscription to Claude. You can

literally generate these directly inside

for free. So, the first thing you're

going to need is Claude installed onto

your computer. So, I'm going to go to

claude.ai. Once you're on this page, go

to the bottom left to get apps and

extensions. And you should see a

download for Mac OS or download for PC.

Then you can go ahead and download that

to your computer. And once it's

installed, you'll have the Claude client

installed on your computer, which will

look like this. The first time you log

in, it'll probably look exactly like

this. All I need to do is say, "Please

generate a clean soft pastel. lot file

for my studio YouTube videos. Cinematic

and clean. Let's go ahead and click

send. Once it's done generating, Claude

is going to give us a summary of what it

just created. It created a look with

lifted shadows, soft highlights, subtle

teal in the shadows, and warm peach in

the highlights. Skin tone friendly

reduce the saturation, and it created a

low contrast look for that clean studio

aesthetic. If you navigate slightly

further, you'll find the actual file,

which you can click, then navigate to

that arrow and say download. save it to

your downloads or whatever other folder

you want to save it to. Let's go ahead

and click save. I've already generated

this, so I'm just going to click

replace. Now, if we navigate to Cap Cut,

you can go to adjustment, navigate to

LUT, say import, and you'll find that

cube file, which you can select, and say

open. That then imports it into Cap Cut,

and you can use this for whatever

project you create in Caput. All we then

need to do is click that plus icon. It's

going to add a new layer to our

timeline, which we can extend over our

footage. And you'll see if I toggle this

on and off, it's created a filter for

our footage. Personally, I think this is

slightly too strong. So, I could stay

selected on that and drag it down to

around 50%. That looks wonderful. Now,

the incredible thing about Claude is you

can always ask it to make tweaks to

exactly what it creates. So, personally,

I didn't really like that teal look in

the shadows of this. It took away from

some of that clean aesthetic. So, I

asked Claude to generate a brand new

file, just removing that teal. And you

can see the difference here.

Now, if I drag this to 50%, this has

created a very nice pastel looking

studio look. So, the next thing that

we're going to do in Claude is generate

animated numbers. This is great if you

want a numbers counting effect like

you're seeing on screen right now. All

we need to do is navigate to new chat

and let's go ahead and paste our prompt.

All this says is generate a SRT file for

me with numbers counting from 0 to 535.

Make each subtitle 0.1 seconds long and

have a dollar sign in front of all of

them. Let's go ahead and click send.

Once that's done, just like we did with

that L, go ahead and click on that file,

navigate to that arrow, and let's select

download. Save it to your downloads

folder. What we can then do is go to Cap

Cut and drag that SRT file directly onto

our timeline. Essentially, what this has

done if we zoom into our timeline is

it's created a ton of little subtitle

files for us. What's amazing about this

is we can customize all of them directly

inside of Cap Cut. So, let me go and

highlight all of them until they turn

white. We can then change things like

the font size. Let's go ahead and change

that font. And we can even change the

color. But you can see an issue. It is

way too long for our timeline. So

staying selected on all of them, I'm

going to create a compound clip. This

groups all of our subtitles together. On

this compound clip, I can then go to

speed and let's ramp up the speed to

make it a lot shorter. Think I'm going

to go for 10 times. Now I can reposition

that to wherever I want. And if we play

that, you can see that we have this

really premium looking numbers counting

effect.

There's one last bonus trick. If I

wanted to hold on 535, maybe that was

the point I was making. I go ahead and

double click into that compound clip to

access those subtitle files. And you see

where it has 535? I'm just going to drag

that individual layer a lot longer.

Now, what I can do is go back to my

compound clip and let me go ahead and

drag that. So, now when it reaches the

end of our numbers, you can see that we

have a few seconds where it pauses on

535. But we are just scratching the

surface of the potential of what Claude

can create. These are very basic

examples. If we want to create those

premium motion graphics, now we're at

the right part. By the way, if you love

Now, for these next ones, we need

something called Claude code. So, if I

navigate back to Claude, if you're on

the free version, you'll just have chat.

If you upgrade to the pro plan, which is

$17 a month, you get co-work and you get

Claude code. So, we are going to need

Claude code for this next set of tricks.

When you get on this page, you'll see a

couple different plans. If you're doing

a couple of generations a day, maybe 10,

20 generations a day, you'll be

perfectly fine on the pro plan. The

reason that I upgraded to max is I was

abusing Claude to just generate as much

as I could obviously to test and I'll

explain a bit more of why I was using so

much in a bit. But you will be 100% fine

on pro. I was able to generate hundreds

of results and it didn't have an issue.

So once you have Claude code, you're

going to need to install something

called Remotion. Remotion essentially

gives Claude all the knowledge it needs

to create those stunning motion

graphics. And you'll get a feel for how

this works in a bit. But the first thing

we're going to do is go online and

search node.js.

Click on that first result and then

select get node.js. This allows your

computer to run JavaScript. The next

thing you're going to do is go into

Claude and paste this npx create-v video

at latest. And what we can do is say

bypass permissions. That's going to

allow Claude to automatically install

all the things that it needs. Go ahead

and click enter. If it pops up with this

prompt, go ahead and copy the code and

paste that into the command bar. Now,

because I already have a project

installed on my computer, it's saying

that you already exist with a file path

with a full Remotion scaffold. Because

this will be your first time installing

Remotion, it's going to ask you to

create a folder on your computer, and

that'll allow you to save all your

Remotion projects directly into that

folder. If you ever get lost with this

process, just tell Claude, "Hey, I'm not

understanding what we're doing right

now. Can you just help me install this?"

Once you're done with the actual

Remotion installation, go ahead and type

this prompt cd my- video npmi and go
