TRANSCRIÇÃO COMPLETA

0:00

This is the Vcopter Falcon Mini from 00

0:04

Robotics. In today's video, I'm going to

0:06

go over a full review of everything I

0:08

like and I don't like about this drone.

0:11

Firstly, the most notable feature of

0:13

this drone is the fact that it only has

0:15

two propellers. It's based off the 00

0:17

Robotics original Falcon, which was a

0:20

little bit larger, about 800 g. After

0:22

talking with some people that actually

0:24

own that drone, there is a number of

0:26

differences that this drone has that

0:29

makes it kind of unique and also sets it

0:31

apart. So, inside the FlyMore package,

0:34

you're going to get the drone itself, as

0:36

well as three batteries total and a

0:38

charger that only supports two batteries

0:40

itself. Um, so if you want to charge all

0:43

three at the same time, you need to plug

0:44

in the drone as well as the two

0:47

batteries and their individual hub

0:49

charger. So, I think in my opinion, I

0:51

wish it was similar to something like

0:53

the Mavics or the DJI Mini drones that

0:55

has the ability to charge all three

0:57

batteries at once, but that's just a

0:59

personal preference. Another thing as

1:01

well about the batteries is that when

1:03

you try to remove them, the batteries

1:06

themselves do not have a lot of give and

1:08

therefore are a little difficult to

1:10

sometimes get out of their charger and

1:12

also don't have a really like sometimes

1:15

it really is difficult to get them out.

1:17

And they also don't have a lot of give,

1:18

so you don't know if you're pressing it

1:20

down hard enough or not. So, it is a

1:23

little finicky at some points with that.

1:25

Also, when I originally picked up this

1:27

drone, these arms, especially because

1:30

they are kind of out here, they do

1:31

occasionally get bumped and pressured.

1:33

And what happened to me is there was a

1:35

clip out here, especially since this arm

1:37

doesn't have, it seems like, any

1:38

attachment here. When you pressure it,

1:40

you pop out the clips and therefore you

1:43

have to then lift it all back up and pop

1:45

it back in. So, it is a little bit of a

1:48

sensitive area here and you easily can

1:50

pop out um and kind of snap out all the

1:53

clips here. It only has one screw here.

1:55

I definitely think they should have had

1:56

another screw here because it is very

1:57

easy to pop that out. The RC itself is

2:01

very similar to the original Falcon RC.

2:03

It is smaller. It has the ability to, of

2:06

course, store the joysticks and also

2:08

elevates the user's phone off the

2:10

control pad. It is a pretty simple

2:13

controller. However, it works fine. I

2:16

think in my opinion, I still do slightly

2:18

prefer the DJI ones. However, I do like

2:21

the fact that it's elevated. It's not as

2:23

ergonomic and it does feel a little bit

2:25

cheap, but overall, it's perfectly fine

2:27

for what you're using it for. Picture

2:28

quality on this drone was originally

2:30

advertised at 20 megapixels. However,

2:32

I've only gotten it to take pictures at

2:34

12. Also, in my opinion, the picture

2:37

quality is not ideal. It is okay. I

2:40

think for a $200 or a $300, depending on

2:43

what package you get and if you get the

2:45

FlyMore combo like I have here, the $400

2:47

package, I think for a $400 drone, it

2:50

comes in slightly worse than maybe the

2:52

DJI Mini 2 did. Um, the picture quality

2:55

is a little iffy at times. However,

2:57

overall, it does compete on pretty much

3:01

on par. I think the the interesting

3:03

thing to me though is again I think the

3:05

main selling point of this is that it's

3:07

a two propeller drone and if you wanted

3:09

something that was four propellers then

3:11

you'd get something that's four

3:12

propellers. You're really getting this

3:13

drone because you think that technology

3:15

itself is cool because there are a lot

3:17

of other options that are very similarly

3:19

priced, very similarly speced in terms

3:21

of camera. So the main point I would say

3:24

is you're really looking for a unique

3:26

statement. Now, in terms of video

3:28

quality, it is also on par with the Mini

3:30

2 kind of drones and your average

3:32

run-of-the-mill 250 g drone. So, whether

3:34

or not you're talking about Potenzix or

3:36

you're talking about a, you know, DJI

3:38

Mini 2, maybe Mini 4K, something like

3:41

that, it's on par in terms of video

3:43

quality. So, not ideal, but also keeping

3:46

in mind the context and price range. I

3:48

did encounter a couple issues with the

3:52

we'll talk about flight characteristics

3:53

next because that's an important context

3:55

when you're talking about a two

3:56

propeller drone. Um and there were some

3:58

issues with that. But also I did

3:59

encounter so originally when I got this

4:01

drone from 00 Robotics. They provided it

4:03

for this review. I had a very weird

4:06

issue where the compass had struggled to

4:08

calibrate or was not working properly

4:10

and so the drone would drift uh as it

4:13

would move. I do still have a little bit

4:15

of that, but it has somewhat resolved

4:17

itself with the second drone that they

4:19

sent. But it does drift a little bit.

4:21

So, when I received the second drone,

4:23

which did solve the drifting issue, the

4:26

camera gimbal is now vibrating um as if

4:30

it's not balanced. However, when I'm

4:33

trying to use this,

4:35

it's pretty much making the video that's

4:37

coming out of it unusable. So, I had one

4:40

drone that had a compass issue that made

4:42

flying in a straight line very

4:43

difficult. And now I have another drone

4:45

that has a gimbal issue that makes the

4:48

video that comes out of the drone

4:49

unusable. Yet, it can fly in a straight

4:51

line. So, just my sample size of two.

4:54

Both have an issue of some kind that I

4:57

think make or break whether or not I

4:59

would purchase this drone. If I had any

5:00

of those issues, they would be getting

5:02

sent back. Overall, the stability of the

5:04

video is also somewhat affected. They

5:06

advertise this as being a super stable.

5:08

You can put a quarter on top of this

5:10

drone. However, in any type of windy

5:13

conditions, it really does struggle. And

5:16

I understand that that test was done

5:17

indoors. It was done with a complex

5:19

environment. And I think in that certain

5:21

lab case, it, you know, it makes sense.

5:24

But in any other case, you're using this

5:26

drone in a kind of windy condition and

5:28

especially if you start doing some

5:30

pretty drastic maneuvers, you will very

5:32

clearly see that this is kind of

5:34

unstable. I don't know if it's as

5:36

unstable as a four propeller drone. Um I

5:39

think it's probably just slightly worse.

5:42

However, you are making a sacrifice even

5:44

on stability, especially on a smaller

5:46

drone that does get blown around in the

5:47

wind a lot. This was much more practical

5:49

when this was a larger platform. When

5:51

this was the original one with the two

5:53

propellers, it was a lot more stable.

5:55

But since this is so little weight, it

5:57

also does make the stability and it does

5:59

blow around a lot. whether or not that's

6:01

seen in trying to fly in a straight

6:03

line. You'll look at some of the videos

6:05

that I've have of just trying to fly in

6:06

a straight line and you'll see very

6:07

quickly how much the wind starts to move

6:10

this drone, at least in my testing.

6:11

Okay, now let's talk about some of the

6:13

flight characteristics. So, the reverse

6:15

flight I do want to say is also leaning

6:18

into the fact of this is kind of a

6:20

gimmick. And I don't mean that in like

6:22

there is really no practical way that

6:24

you're going to be choosing to fly

6:26

upside down. The reason why you'd fly

6:28

upside down is you're trying to show

6:29

friends, you're trying to do something

6:30

cool, which does lead into the fact that

6:33

this is a two propeller drone. Like that

6:34

is the selling point is it's cool. So

6:37

adding in a upside down flying mode is

6:39

also cool. However, I don't necessarily

6:44

there's not a lot of practicality to it

6:46

and it's very inconvenient to have to

6:48

manually take off and land by catching

6:51

it. It is a little difficult and I

6:54

personally think that that is it's not

6:56

for everybody. Then you have to remove

6:58

all the propellers. You have to set up

7:00

like you know change the setup. It is

7:03

somewhat impractical for the average

7:06

person. Also the reverse flight mode

7:09

itself does not have GPS does not have

7:11

an altitude hold. So it becomes

7:14

very difficult to fly the drone you are

7:18

flying. in effect um without any GPS,
