Unboxing The RAREST Drone in the World - HoverAir Aqua Early Access

Hey everyone and welcome to another

Adventures Arc video. I've not ventured

out. I'm in the house. I'm in my

conservatory and we're going to do a bit

of an unboxing video because I've been

teasing on this channel for a little

while now that I'm getting a new drone

and it's finally arrived. It actually

arrived a little bit sooner than I

expected. It wasn't supposed to be here

for another couple of days, but it came

yesterday. Been really excited to get it

out of the box, but I wanted to film an

unboxing video. Yes, I know it's an

unboxing video. YouTube, blah blah blah.

I'm not a big fan of them myself, but I

wanted to do as good coverage of this

drone as possible because I'm in the

early access program and I feel a bit of

responsibility to get some video content

out there because, you know, a lot of

people are waiting for this drone and

I'm privileged to be able to get it a

little bit early than most people. So,

I'm going to go ahead and put my net

camera on and let's get this unboxing

filmed. But before we do though, please

last few weeks. Full disclosure, I have

actually already unboxed this. I

intended to film it, but my GoPro camera

I had other thoughts and ended up

crashing. So, I didn't get much of it on

camera. So that's why when we go through

this unboxing, all the seals are broken.

It didn't come like that. I literally

have just 15 minutes ago broken all the

seals and got everything out thinking I

was filming, but I wasn't. So, let's do

it again. The lid is already open.

First of all, we get a nice little card

showing me what we've bought. And then

in the top here is our bag. Now, when it

came, the strap wasn't attached. I've

already attached the strap. I didn't

bother to take it off again. At the

bottom, we've got our

repair kit for the drone, the Hover Air

Aqua repair kit.

So, in here, we've got a

T4

Torx screwdriver, presumably to change

the propeller blades. We've got some

spare prop guards, as well as in that

pocket there, I believe, is some spare

screws for the propellers. And then

we've got a whole spare

bumper. I was surprised at the material

of this uh bumper. I thought from the

videos I saw that it looked like rubber,

but maybe rubber would be too heavy for

it. Um it's actually like a almost like

a cardboardy feel, but I assume it's

some kind of form. Uh but yeah, it it's

very light. Uh so imagine it probably

will get, you know, if you do hit

something with it, it will do its job

and protect the drone. But imagine

itself in it in itself will get damaged

quite quickly. So it's good that there's

spares. Obviously, it's a brand new

product, so there's no aftermarket

spares apart from the ones from Hover.

Hopefully, at some point, we'll be able

to get spare propellers and things like

that from just from Amazon, etc. Let's

put that to one side and let's see what

we've got in the bag.

As I say, I reiterate, I have already

opened all this.

So, it's not as neatly packaged as it

was.

But in the top here was the

main quick start guide

as well as the this is the surface mount

for the wet suit for the drone. We'll

talk about that in a second. First time

I opened it, I didn't realize what that

was for, but um now I do once I actually

looked at the wets suit. Here we've got

a dry bag for the battery. So there is a

battery. It come this particular package

that I bought comes with three

batteries. One battery is pre-installed

on the drone just to keep the connectors

um covered. So that is the bag for that

battery. Um basically it's quite neat.

you, it's got a double seal, like one of

those sort of

um

plastic zip seals,

and then you just fold that up like a

dry bag and then zip over the uh velcro

over the top, and that's where your

battery stays. And it's got a specific

way around that you store the battery.

So, just in case there's any water

gathers at the bottom, I guess. Uh but

yeah, that we'll look at that in a

second.

Uh, we've also got a single USB charge

cable. There's no plug because why would

they include a plug these days?

Everybody's got charger plugs and they

have to include one for every territory.

Sitting on the top was this before your

first flight information card. So, it

talks about making sure everything's

charged,

downloading the app,

how to turn it on, how to connect the

drone to the app, um, and then how to

take off and how to land. And we've got

four boxes, as you see that they're

already opened, but starting with

this one

is the uh, charging hob for the

batteries. Now, I've already opened

this, but I really, really like the

design of this. It's really quite neat.

So,

take that out.

Uh, and there's our charging hub. So,

it's got a thin rubber base to stop it

from sliding around. Uh, it can take

obviously two batteries at once. Um, and

then the drone can charge the other

battery, I assume. But we got a USBC

port in the bottom there, and then

battery side. And then we've got charge

indicator lights at the top. Let's stick

a couple of batteries in and you'll see

what I mean when I say that how neat I

think it is. So these are the batteries.

They came within the dry bags.

So they're a little bit awkward to get

out of here. pop the seal and then I

find if you just hold the top there and

it'll just come out like that as long

along with the the silica gel and then

in terms of actually installing it to

the charger it really couldn't be any

simpler. Uh it can only go in one way

that slot in there and then at the top

you pull these

clips down and then just make sure it's

in. And then that is nice and neat.

in there. Let's get the other one in

there.

There we go. Clicks nice in place. And

that is really quite neat. I quite like

that. Look quite nice sat on my charging

area. And then finally, well, not

finally, before the main event, which is

the drone, we've also got the

lighthouse. Uh, so it's all uh comes

with its own armband strap. It's quite

flexible, so I should be able to find a

comfortable fit. Power button on the

side. The I assume the sort of antenna

effectively for it is in the under the

black cover. And then we've got a ring

of control, so directional buttons I

assume. And then I think on the

diagonals are some function buttons. And

then we've got a select button in the

middle. And then finally, we've got the

return to home button there as a quick

access button on the bottom. And then

under here we've got a USBC

charger. And then now for the the main

event. Now

it comes with

uh inside it's uh wets suit which is

nicely branded. Um I wasn't sure about

the wets suit to start with. I'm still

not sure about it. I can see the benefit

of it but I think it's a little bit

awkward to get the drone in and out of.

Probably as I get more used to it I'll

get it'll get easier. But at the moment
