The one thing that you actually have,

0:02

which is going to help you achieve your

0:03

potential, isn't anything physical or

0:05

material. It's your attention. Because

0:08

if you don't have enough attention,

0:10

well, you're not even going to be

0:11

bothered or [ __ ] to do anything in the

0:13

first place to achieve your highest

0:15

potential. And the reason why I know you

0:17

have an attention problem is because

0:19

you're over-consuming educational

0:22

content. You're watching all the

0:23

podcasts, you're looking at the latest

0:25

studies, you're doing all of this, and

0:27

still you're not taking good enough

0:30

action. I guarantee you in your life,

0:32

somewhere in the past, maybe a few weeks

0:34

ago, a month ago, maybe a couple years

0:36

ago, you had glimpses, a few days, maybe

0:39

a week of

0:40

living in your absolute edge. And what I

0:43

mean by that is you just felt [ __ ]

0:44

alive. Everything felt aligned,

0:47

everything felt effortless, you felt

0:48

great, and it was genuinely a great

0:51

moment of your life, only for it to

0:53

relapse back and fall back into place.

0:55

Now, what happened here is something

0:57

happened in your life, you went and you

1:00

doubted yourself, you doubted the

1:01

process, you doubted who you were. So,

1:03

instead of going back in yourself and

1:05

trusting yourself again, you started

1:08

looking for more education. You started

1:09

looking for more things. You started

1:11

looking for answers outside of you. I

1:13

did the same. Instead of actually

1:15

looking at myself and realizing that,

1:18

wait, it's me who I I don't even believe

1:20

in myself. It's not the education It It

1:23

doesn't matter what education it is. I

1:24

just don't believe in myself. So, there

1:26

was no point. I was watching all the

1:28

guides, I was listening to all the

1:29

blueprints, and reading the books, and

1:31

everything like that. But nothing was

1:33

actually happening because I didn't even

1:34

believe in anything like this. You know,

1:37

the guides, the routines, and

1:38

everything. Until I started looking into

1:42

the actual critical information, which

1:44

was

1:46

why do I even feel like this in the

1:48

first place? Why is it that when I wake

1:50

up in the morning, the most natural

1:52

thing for me to do is grab my phone,

1:54

watch porn, masturbate, and not even

1:56

take a shower? Why is that natural for

1:58

me? Why is it natural for me to think

2:00

negatively? Why is it natural for me to

2:02

self-sabotage myself? Why is it natural

2:05

for me to give my attention away to

2:08

everything else? Why do I keep wasting

2:09

my life? At the real root cause, why

2:12

does this happen?

2:13

And I stumbled upon a book by Dr. Joe

2:15

Dispenza called Breaking the Habit of

2:17

Being Yourself. And then I read Becoming

2:20

Supernatural by the same author.

2:22

And I realized and I was reminded, cuz I

2:24

knew about this in the past, but I never

2:26

really took great action. I realized,

2:29

wait a second.

2:30

This is just how I'm coded. This is just

2:33

how I'm programmed. I've been living

2:34

like this way for so long that it's just

2:36

become my natural state. So, if I start

2:39

to live like a new person,

2:41

then that will eventually become my new

2:43

natural state. But the question I had

2:45

was, okay, what do I need to do to

2:47

become this new person? You know, is it

2:49

more habits? Is it more routines? How

2:51

disciplined do I have to be? That's

2:53

where I [ __ ] up.

2:54

I was the guy who was walking around

2:57

24/7 with earphones playing educational

3:01

videos. I'm not talking about motivation

3:03

here, because I believe motivational

3:05

videos are actually [ __ ] awesome. I

3:07

believe in that. I believe that when

3:08

you're down bad and you listen to a

3:10

[ __ ] motivational video, it hits the

3:11

spot, man. It it does. I'm more talking

3:14

about just pure information, the pure

3:16

guides, the pure routines, the pure

3:18

habits, and techniques. They never

3:20

worked for me cuz I was looking for

3:22

solutions outside of myself.

3:25

It doesn't matter what the solution is.

3:26

I just never believed there could be a

3:28

solution in the first place. So, how did

3:30

I break out? First, I need to reset my

3:32

nervous system. I was giving my

3:34

attention away to all the wrong places.

3:36

Come on, bro. I know you have a

3:38

potential, otherwise you wouldn't be

3:39

watching this far. And the only thing,

3:42

as I mentioned, keeping you from your

3:44

potential isn't more information, cuz

3:46

you have an idea of what you want to do.

3:47

It isn't more guides or more knowledge,

3:49

cuz you know how different how you can

3:52

do it in different ways. You've got that

3:54

resource.

3:55

What it was at the end is a few things:

3:58

fear, worries, lack of self-belief,

4:01

self-sabotage, and it doesn't feel like

4:04

something you can actually achieve. And

4:05

even if you did achieve it, you wouldn't

4:07

be worthy enough to keep it, so you will

4:09

lose it. This is how you think. This is

4:12

how you behave. And this is how you feel

4:14

about yourself, I guarantee you. And

4:16

that's exactly what I had to break out

4:18

of, cuz I went through the exact same

4:19

thing. I always tell the same story.

4:22

Um it took me 1 year to finally start my

4:24

YouTube channel because I was so afraid

4:26

of what people are going to think of me.

4:28

And then when I did start, I ran that

4:30

YouTube channel for 4 years, only to get

4:32

700 subscribers.

4:34

In this new channel you're watching, I

4:36

got 700 subscribers in 4 months.

4:39

Now, what happened there is over the 4

4:42

years, I kept self-sabotaging. I would

4:45

have like a week of uploading every day,

4:47

and then I would just lose hope cuz all

4:48

my videos done [ __ ] and I would give

4:50

up, and I would go back to my old

4:52

habits, go back to playing Dota 2 for

4:54

another thousand hours, go back to my

4:57

realistic my simulation my kingdom in

5:00

Crusader Kings and play that instead,

5:02

and order more weed, and waste more

5:04

time, and spend more time indoors. I was

5:05

just letting it all waste away. You know

5:07

what I was doing at on top of that? I

5:10

was watching Hamza videos. I was

5:12

watching Iman Gadzhi. I was watching all

5:13

the business gurus.

5:15

Yeah, I was playing Dota 2, smoking

5:17

weed, and watching videos motivating to

5:20

be my potential self. And I never

5:22

believed in myself.

5:23

My identity was wrong. That's the thing

5:26

I was [ __ ] up. I wasn't fixing my

5:29

identity. I was fixing my Oh, I need

5:31

more knowledge. I need more solutions. I

5:33

need more this. No, no, no, no, no. You

5:35

don't need more. You need less. You need

5:37

to spend less time giving your attention

5:39

away. You need to spend less time giving

5:41

away the actual source of energy you

5:43

have to make change, and that's my

5:45

attention.

5:47

So, what what did I do? Well, I started

5:49

to pay attention to myself. Instead of

5:51

paying attention to more podcasts, and

5:53

more books, and more songs, and more

5:55

ideas, I started paying attention to my

5:58

thoughts, and my emotions, and my

6:00

desires, and my thought patterns, and

6:03

how things were happening in my mind.

6:06

And then, by paying less attention to

6:08

things, I became more relaxed. I started

6:10

to regulate my nervous system. I started

6:12

just sitting in the sun, you know, just

6:15

chilling out, letting my mind be still,

6:17

letting my mind be peaceful. Just

6:19

chilling out. That's what I was doing.

6:21

And then, what happened is

6:24

I started to realize, hold on a second.

6:27

Why was I so afraid yesterday, and why

6:29

am I not afraid right now?

6:31

Why am I in this moment, why do I feel

6:34

so great? Why is there no thoughts

6:36

running?

6:37

And then I realized, oh,

6:40

I was living in survival mode. I was

6:42

living on autopilot. And the fact that

6:44

I'd never realized I was on autopilot

6:47

was draining my attention, my focus, my

6:49

energy, my life force away from me.

6:52

And so,

6:53

regulating my nervous system, actually

6:56

just taking a breath,

6:58

>> [sighs]

6:58

>> and realizing, wait a second.
