Labour Revolt Erupts as Starmer Faces Explosive New Crisis
TRANSCRIPTION COMPLÈTE
And hello everybody. Welcome back to the
channel. Guys, we've got an interesting
one for you uh this afternoon with
regards to K Star. Now, a lot of last
week and much of this week, the whole
speculation has been around sort of
Karma's position. Now, we spoke about
this whole Peter Mandlesson fallout and
all of the rest of it, and it does seem
as though Karma is going to survive
this, right? He always manages to sort
of wriggle out to things, right?
However, as I always say all of the
time, you know, the Labour Bank ventures
with inside that party. You know, he
can't even command his own party. It's a
situation where we're currently seeing a
lot of them back Karma, but also at the
same time, a lot of them are against
Karma. Now, to push through a vote of no
confidence, really, you need to see a
mass amount of Labour MPs really go
against the prime minister. Now, the
news I was starting to hear this morning
is uh quite uh interesting indeed. That
doesn't look good for Kstarma. You know,
if they're they're looking at that at
all. It does not look good whatsoever.
So, I just want to take a few minutes to
go through this news, guys. But first,
please do hit the like button and hit
the subscribe button for more. So, as
you can see, Labour backbenches are
preparing to side with Conservative MPs
in an attempt to force Karma before a
parliamentary sleas probe over the Lord
Mandlesson scandal. Now, the prime
minister faces accusations of misleading
the Commons regarding the appointment of
the ex- Labour peer as ambassador to
Washington. A parliamentary debate is
expected this week to determine whether
the matter should be referred to the
privileges committee for formal
scrutiny. Senior Labour figures have
privately expressed fears the government
may not secure enough votes to block the
referral.
Um a party insider told the Sun, "We
have a big majority. The MPs can vote
with their feet like they did on
welfare." One Labour MP also told the
newspaper, "Watch out for the privileges
committee. A lot of Labour MPs are
angry. Should the vote fail, Kier would
face an examination by the same
committee that effectively ended Boris
Johnson's political career during the
party gate scandal. The allegation
centers on claims that Downing Street
exerted pressure on the foreign office
to approve Lord Mandlesson's appointment
which K has denied at the dispatch box.
So what you're seeing here guys in real
time is potentially potent potentially
uh Labour MPs of course siding with the
Tories to you know escalate this matter
which if you look at history with the
sort of Boris Johnson this would
essentially mark the end for the prime
minister. So could certainly be a very
very big week. But the thing is with the
Labour party anchorama specifically he's
always trying to gaslight that things
are under control. He always likes to
see be looked as as everything's under
control. But the reality, the true
reality is that a lot of Labour MPs, now
I could put a percentage on it, but you
know, sometimes 40 60% of them at least
um are not don't want Kstarma. That's
the reality. But the problem here is is
that for us, it's not a side of, you
know, if Karma goes then great. It's
like a a second of celebration, right?
But then what happens after? You know,
it's not a general election that gets
called. It's in fact more of a situation
where someone far less uh incomp more
more far more incompetent gets
appointed. David Lammy, Angela Raina,
you know, the list goes on. Ed Miban for
God's sake. So, yes, this can seemingly
look like good news on the surface, and
I always celebrate that as fact, but of
course, we need the Labour Party out,
but it's going to be a big week, and
this certainly isn't going anywhere.
Guys, for the regular viewers, uh you
may have seen some inconsistency for me.
I'm currently out on the road, a big
family trip currently out in Malaysia.
Um so yeah, I've been taking time with
the sort of family and really enjoying
uh being out here. But we're back to
sort of normal um normal jogging um in a
few days, the 29th to about the 30th
towards the end of the month, and we'll
be back with the the normal schedule.
So, thank you for bearing with me. Um we
are trying to get content out there for
you guys, but maybe not as breaking as
as we as we normally are. Uh, but I
appreciate the support regardless and
uh, yeah, looking forward to getting
back to the studio and providing you
with more information. But guys, do let
me know your thoughts on this guys. Um,
that Labourback benches could be set to
join the Tory MPs to force Karma into a
sleas inquiry over the Lord Mandlesson
scandal. Thank you guys and I'll see you
in the next one. Take care. Peace.
