'It SICKENS ME' | Michelle Dewberry FUMES at 'Muslim extremist men' dictating British institutions
TRANSCRIPCIÓN COMPLETA
spoken now at length, haven't we, about
all of these uh horrendous anti-semitic
incidents uh that have been taking place
in this country. Well, today Starmer, he
organized um a summit, 90 odd people in
attendance. Let's just listen to some of
the things that he had to say.
>> No mistake, this crisis,
it's a crisis for all of us.
It is a test of our values.
values that aren't guaranteed,
they are earned.
>> Uh Barry, he announced some more uh
funding to try and stop this. He
announced measures uh to try and compel
universities
um to root out anti-semitism. There were
conversations about ceasing funding uh
to different organizations.
Uh is it going far enough? Well, look,
um, as you know, Michelle, my my own
constituency suffered the Canton attack
on the synagogue there. And so, I was
with the chief rabbi and with the whole
of the shul talking through what could
be done. Um, one of the things that I
was most keen to to point out was that
when it was an attack on the buildings
before these attacks on people, um, I
said, "Look, this should not be
prosecuted as criminal damage. it must
be prosecuted as terrorism because
that's what it is. The they're attacking
Jewish buildings in order to sow fear
and terror amongst the Jewish community
in this country. That's the first thing.
The other thing I think is
>> so what response did you get to that?
>> Uh very positive response. Um the the
other uh the other thing that I think is
really important is that we look at the
prescription of the RGC. We talked about
it for long enough. Of course, the uh
the difficulty comes because it is a
part of a state rather than a separate
organization. But I think we've now
drilled down to the bottom of that. And
I'm very hopeful indeed the prime
minister who was at that meeting um made
clear that uh he expected that to be
coming forward in the king's speech so
that we can now prescribe the IRGC. And
I think that's really important. The
other thing is the marches. Um and look,
I I don't want to interfere with freedom
of speech in this country. I think the
right to protest is absolutely critical.
It's part of our culture. Uh and it's
something that we should be very proud
of. Um but at the same time, there are
people on those marches, a small
minority of people who indulge in hate
speech, who indulge in uh incitement to
violence, and that needs to be policed
so that when that happens on a march,
the police need to go in there, take
them out, and prosecute. CLA,
>> we're living in a time of what feels
like pretty significant social change.
And it makes us question, things that
we've even taken for granted for
decades. And one of those at the moment
that people are wondering about is
actually money. Is the money in your
bank account safe? Should you be
investing elsewhere? Are we looking at a
potential global crash? What will it
mean for your savings? Is there a way
that you could be using your money that
might be outside of government control
even? Well, Tally Money is potentially
one solution. So, I'm delighted to say
that I'm joined today by the CEO and
founder of Tally Money, Cameron Perry.
What is Tally Money?
>> Well, at Tally Money, you basically get
gold you can spend. So, we give people
an individual uh account in their name
everyday account. They get a sort code,
an account number. They use that account
just like they would pounds from their
bank, but uh it's milligrams of gold
that we brand as tally.
>> Okay. Why would you do that though? What
is the benefit to the customer instead
of just having a normal pound sterling
account?
>> Gold's performance against the pound is
above 11% peranom over the last 25 years
on average. But we still need money in
our daily lives and we we have savings.
We know that it's good common sense and
prudent to save up for things, not just
living credit. you know, whether it's a
holiday or a rainy day, uh your
retirement planning, you need to have
money in your life basically that you
can rely on that's dependable that
nobody meddles with that nobody can
weaponize against you, which is another
element of government control when it's
the government currency, which we could
talk about another time. And it should
be pretty simple and straightforward,
and that's what we deliver at Tally. Um,
and really, we just want people to feel
safe and happy with their money. There
was a time when the bigger your bank
balance, the the more confident you
felt. Now it's like I need to do
something with it. I can't leave it
there. In tally you can.
>> Okay. Brilliant. Cameron Perry from
Tally Money. Thank you so much.
>> Thank you babe.
I think that we've got way past this
because what you've seen on the marches
and since October 7th is widespread
anti-semitism in this country is now run
rife and the problem with the Labour
parties I don't think that they have
really named the problem which is it's a
mixture of the far-left and it's a
mixture of these isist groups who are
now working together and actually one of
the worst things that has happened for
people who are trying to police
terrorism is the introduction of a new
Islam aophobia definition something that
I have campaigned against. It was warned
against by leading counterterror
experts. And what are we seeing now?
Barry is right to say we are seeing
people who want to spread terror in the
Jewish community. And what Labor have
done is made it much harder for anyone
to address that. So I think this is now
a much bigger problem. It is not a
couple of people on marches. You are
seeing the normalization
of the hatred of Jewish people in our
country. So much so that if you talk to
any Jewish family, the question they are
asking themselves is, "Can I stay in
Britain? Am I safe here?"
>> What do you say about to that, Barry?
>> Look, um,
you know, I I don't think this we should
be turning this into a party political
thing. It's much more serious than that.
You know, I could retort to Claire,
well, you had 14 years to to clamp down
on this, to do stuff, and you didn't,
and it got worse, and it got worse. Um
but that's not going to take us forward.
I think what we now must see is yes much
more active policing, much more
prosecution, but actually there's a
there's a whole different layer here and
and that is the way in which people have
become confused about disagreeing with
the politics that the Israeli
government, you know, prosecutes and
anti-semitism.
There should be there should be nothing.
Uh in fact, if you look at the the IH uh
definition of anti-semitism, it actually
says that criticism of the Jewish state
is not anti-semitic in itself.
>> But that is not what's happening on
these.
>> Well, I I actually think there's a
blurring there, Cle Cla. I I think
what's happening is people are
expressing them their opposition to what
Israel's done in Gaza and that is then
being pushed over into an attack on
Jewish people instead of on the state
policies of Israel.
>> Barry, you're you're defending people's
right to be on the marches of course,
>> but do you not recognize that on these
marches time and time again you have
seen anti-semitic chants? You have seen
pictures of the Star of David next to a
waste paper bin. You have seen people
chanting things like kaiba kaiba ya
yahood which means watch out Jews the
army of Muhammad is coming. I mean this
is totally unacceptable is it's totally
