Prayer For Entering Into new Authority | COMMAND YOUR NIGHT| April 23, 2026
VOLLSTÄNDIGE ABSCHRIFT
Abba,
our Father [music]
and our God, we enter this night watch
with holy reverence and with a bowed
heart, [music] and we bless your name
for you are God from everlasting to
everlasting. [music]
You are the keeper of Israel, who
neither slumbers nor sleeps. You are the
[music] one who stretched out the
heavens by wisdom, who appointed the
moon for seasons, and who commands the
morning and causes [music]
the dawn to know its place.
Before we ask for anything, [music]
before we contend over gates, before we
war over cycles [music] and seasons, we
come to magnify you, to enthrone you
upon the praises of our lips, and to
declare that there is none like you in
heaven [music] above or in the earth
beneath. Great is the Lord and greatly
[music] to be praised. You are clothed
with majesty and honor. Light is [music]
your garment. Power belongs to you.
Dominion belongs to you. The night
belongs [music] to you, for the darkness
and the light are both alike unto you.
Lord, we thank you for the gift [music]
of this day now passing into the womb of
memory.
We thank you [music] for every mercy
that carried us, for every unseen danger
you [music] turned aside, for every
arrow that flew but did not prosper, for
every [music] snare that was laid but
did not capture us.
We thank you [music] that as the word
declares in Lamentations 3,
it is of the Lord's mercies that we are
not [music] consumed because your
compassions fail not. They are new every
morning. Great is your [music]
faithfulness. And now, as this day
yields to the mysteries of the night, we
stand in gratitude because [music] you
have been faithful through hours we
understood and hours we did not
understand.
You preserved our going out and our
coming in.
You kept [music] our mind from fracture,
our spirit from collapse, our body from
destruction, and our destiny from theft.
>> [music]
>> We worship you, Jesus, exalted Lamb of
God, enthroned forever, the Lion of the
tribe of Judah, the root of [music]
David, who has prevailed. We bless you
because by your blood we [music] have
access, by your cross we have victory,
by your resurrection we have life,
by your name we have authority. [music]
We do not enter this prayer on the
strength of emotion, nor [music] by the
confidence of the flesh, but by the
finished work of Christ and by the
speaking [music] blood that testifies
better things than the blood of Abel.
Thank you that the blood speaks [music]
mercy over judgment, preservation over
destruction, [music] covenant over
accusation, and victory over every
counsel [music] of hell. Thank you that
tonight we do not stand as abandoned
people, nor as vulnerable wanderers,
>> [music]
>> but as sons and daughters seated with
Christ in heavenly places,
>> [music]
>> hidden with Christ in God, and marked by
covenant. Holy Spirit, [music] Spirit of
the living God, brood over this moment.
Hover over this prayer [music] watch as
you hovered over the face of the deep in
the beginning.
Bring divine order where there has been
disorder. [music]
Bring utterance where there has been
groaning.
Bring fire where there has been fatigue.
[music]
Bring precision where there has been
confusion.
Let the river of prayer [music] open.
Let the well of intercession break
forth. Let spiritual senses be
sharpened. Let the inner man come alive.
[music] Let the heart become an altar,
and let this night become a place of
encounter. We yield this watch to you.
We ask [music]
that you would pray through us with
groanings which cannot be uttered, and
that every word released in alignment
[music] with heaven would become a legal
testimony in the spirit. Father, we
adore you for your sovereignty [music]
over times and seasons. As the word
declares [music]
in Daniel, you change times and seasons.
You remove kings [music] and set up
kings. Nothing escapes your government.
Nothing surprises your throne. The stars
remain in their courses by [music] your
decree. The boundaries of waters are
held by your rebuke. The cycles [music]
of men, the rise of kingdoms, the hidden
movements of history, [music]
and the private matters of individual
lives are all under the eye of the
Ancient [music] of Days.
Therefore, we worship in confidence
because this night [music] is not
uncontrolled territory.
This night is not abandoned space.
[music] This night is under the dominion
of God. Its hours, its watches, its
gates, [music] its transactions, and its
outcomes are all subject to the
authority of the Lord Most High. We
praise you because you are a wall of
fire [music] round about your people and
the glory in the midst of them. We
praise you because the name of the Lord
is a strong [music] tower. The righteous
run into it and are safe. We praise
[music] you because you have not called
us to survive the night merely by human
endurance, but to legislate within it by
priestly [music]
authority.
We thank you that as Job 38 reveals,
there are mysteries in the morning and
by implication there are also mysteries
in the night. Yet you are Lord over them
all. Nothing hidden remains hidden
before you. Every counsel [music]
uttered in darkness is naked before your
gaze. Every secret altar, every
whispering spirit, [music] every
manipulation of cycles, every conspiracy
against purpose [music]
is already exposed before the eyes of
him with whom we have to do.
We worship you because your light does
not [music] struggle against darkness.
It simply appears and darkness [music]
must retreat. Lord, tonight we also
repent before you.
We ask that every defilement of heart,
>> [music]
>> every careless word, every agreement
with fear, every tolerance of unbelief,
every act [music] of disobedience, every
hidden compromise, and every way we have
grieved the spirit would be washed by
the blood of Jesus.
Purify our conscience from dead works to
serve the living God. Let no iniquity
speak against us in this [music] watch.
Let no accusation find legal ground. Let
every handwriting of ordinances contrary
[music] to us be blotted out by the
triumph of the cross. We place ourselves
again beneath the fountain [music]
opened for sin and uncleanness, and we
ask [music] that our garments be made
white in the blood of the Lamb.
Consecrate our lips to speak [music]
accurately. Consecrate our ears to hear
distinctly. [music] Consecrate our eyes
to discern correctly. Consecrate our
hearts to stand upright before you
>> [music]
>> in sincerity and truth.
And now, Lord, in this opening watch,
[music] we enthrone you over our homes,
over our rooms, over our sleep, over our
families, over our minds, over our
bodies, over our destinies, over our
gates,
>> [music]
>> and over every hour appointed for this
night. We declare that you are Lord over
the first watch, the middle watch, and
the morning watch. We declare that the
atmosphere of this night belongs to
Jesus [music] Christ. We sanctify these
hours unto the Lord. Let this not be a
