XMP Demo Video
VOLLSTÄNDIGE ABSCHRIFT
Thank you for taking the time to review XMP, our one-stop cross-channel
intelligent media buying platform. It was built by engineers with heavy
assistance from media buyers, designers, and business managers who know the pain
points when managing campaigns on all major media platforms and ad networks.
Today’s agenda is straightforward. We will spend a few minutes on the history
of Mobvista, as we are a twelve-year-old company focused on digital advertising.
We will then spend a few minutes on a high-level overview of XMP,
explaining how the platform addresses the pain points experienced when managing campaigns,
and then show functionality that internal BI systems do not offer.
Then, we will go into the platform and show you the simple processes we created to help save
you time, become more efficient, achieve the KPIs that are important to you, and help you
make business decisions to drive revenue and growth using benchmarking data and insights.
Last, we will mention the next steps, including the option for a free trial.
Mobvista was founded in 2013, focused on app developers and providing app
developers with programmatic and SaaS tools for monetization, acquisition, and optimization.
And, just about 7 years ago, we went public and are now listed on the Main
Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Mobvista is a global company, headquartered
in Singapore, but helps app developers worldwide. Our global presence allows us to offer "around
the sun" support since we have offices in all major time zones.
On top of that, nearly 65% of our 1000-person team are focused on product and engineering.
Many other advertising companies may have 10 or a maximum of 20% focused on R&D.
We have almost two-thirds of our company constantly focused on innovating and building
best of breed advertising technology. This is the full suite of products and
brands under the Mobvista umbrella. We help app developers from the point
of just creating their app through all growth and expansion phases or from infancy to full maturity.
As an app developer is getting started, they wish to know information
about how users are using the app. In steps Game Analytics, think of Game
Analytics as the "Google Analytics" for games. As the app starts to grow, the app developer
wishes to monetize and they can do that with our programmatic offering, Mintegral.
Mintegral also offers user acquisition on inventory available on the Mintegral platform,
so Mintegral can both monetize and grow users programmatically.
As you can see, there's two other names next to UA.
Nativex, think of Nativex as our in-house media agency for UA.
Many app developers either do not have a UA team or they need help with their
UA strategy and execution of that strategy. Nativex can help and assist with UA on all major
media platforms, SDK ad networks, and their own suite of direct publisher relationships.
You will also see XMP next to UA. XMP was a tool originally built
for our Nativex team and help them increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Not only did it improve these operational metrics, but it also increased ROI for their clients,
so we started offering XMP to Mintegral partners. We also handle all-things-creative
through Mindworks. Think of Mindworks as our
in-house creative agency, just like Nativex, but specifically for building out creatives,
including videos and playables. Mindworks even created their
own creative management platform for playables called Playturbo.
Just like XMP, it was built for our in-house creative agency, and it allowed our Mindworks
team to create playables in minutes without having to write code, so we started offering
it to Mintegral partners as well. We also just launched a new
creative insights tool, Insightrackr. This platform allows app developers to
access a library of 3B+ creatives, identify potential competitors, and gain insights into
competitor ad strategies to help you shape or reshape your own UA and creative strategy.
Last, as an app developer gets really large and starts to have massive cloud costs through Google
Cloud or AWS, they wish to lower those costs. In steps Spotmax to help optimize
their cloud spend. Here’s a snapshot of the
types of clients that utilize Mobvista's programmatic and SaaS products today.
While we started in gaming, we expanded to other verticals, including content,
social media, e-commerce, utilities, and more. Now that we’ve completed the company overview,
let’s go over our one-stop cross-channel intelligent media buying platform - a platform
built to improve your media buying experience. To help achieve the efficiency and effectiveness
of the media buying process and gain insights to help shape your UA strategy,
we integrated with the top media platforms including Meta, Google, and TikTok.
We also integrated with the top SDK ad networks including Mintegral,
AppLovin, Unity, ironSource, and more. And, we are also integrated with all major
mobile measurement platforms, including AppsFlyer, Adjust, Tenjin, and Singular.
These integrations are the foundation to our platform as they allow you to manage
all your campaigns, creatives, and reporting all in one platform, XMP.
XMP brings all your data into one platform, which raises the all-important questions
surrounding data security and privacy. Not only are we SOC2 certified,
but we are 100% compliant with both CCPA in the US and GDPR in Europe.
This year, we have been awarded the Meta Business Partner badge in AdTech, showcasing our
outstanding strength in advertising technology and excellent performance in the industry.
And, because of our data privacy and innovative product capabilities, you can see a few of
the awards the XMP platform has earned. The previous client slide showed a sample
of the clients across all Mobvista products, while this slide shows the XMP clients who
have achieved a major increase in efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI simply by utilizing XMP.
Now that we have completed the company overview and the high-level overview of XMP,
let’s dive into the XMP platform and walk through what it can really do.
We’ve structured the platform into two chapters. The first chapter is Boost Efficiency. This is
all about helping your team streamline workflows, reduce repetitive work,
and achieve the KPIs that are important to you. This includes six key features, including
Cross-Channel Campaign Management, Bulk Campaign Creation, Creative Management and Optimization,
Multi-Dimensional and Visual Data Analysis, and Automatic Optimization.
The second chapter is focused on Data-Driven Growth,
using benchmarking data and traffic insights to optimize performance and scale up your results.
That includes features like Diagnostics, Traffic Insight, and Sub-Source Optimization.
We’ll go through each feature in both chapters and show you how they work together
to support your entire UA journey. Let’s start with Boost Efficiency.
The first key feature is Cross-Channel Campaign Management.
If you’ve ever had to manage 10 or more ad accounts across different platforms,
you know how inefficient it can be. Multiple dashboards, inconsistent
interfaces, and time-consuming manual work. As mentioned earlier and as you can see here,
XMP is integrated with all major ad platforms and MMPs, so you can manage all your campaigns,
creatives, and data in one place. You can also make real-time, bulk
optimizations with just a few clicks; no need to switch between accounts.
Let’s jump into the platform and show you how it works.
This is the first page you’ll see when you log into the XMP platform, our homepage.
It gives you a quick overview of your XMP account status.
Then, On the right side of the screen, you'll see a list of all the major media platforms
that are connected and integrated in the XMP. Before using any features, you’ll need to
authorize your media ad accounts into XMP. Once the accounts are connected, you can
click on the "Promotion" tab at the top of the screen to access the Campaign Management section.
Here, we can view campaign performance data by product,
media buyer, ad account, campaigns, and more. Since each media channel has its own structure,
the available dimensions will vary depending on the media source.
XMP also offers data filtering at the product, platform, and channel levels
As you can see, XMP aggregates all your campaign data across platforms and accounts
So you can analyze performance by product Also, we can expand the default view by clicking
"Columns" button on the right-hand of the screen From here, you can customize the metrics shown
Choosing from media channels or third-party sources.
For example, if you've connected your AppsFlyer account to XMP,
you can add metrics from AppsFlyer, such as ROAS, LTV, and Retention, directly into this view.
You can also create custom formulas based on your own KPIs
Apart from that, this page also allows you to perform bulk operations across multiple accounts.
Including starting and stopping campaigns, and adjusting bids and budgets in real time.
You can even duplicate high-performing campaigns to the same account or a new account,
so you don’t have to rebuild everything from scratch when setting up in another account.
Now that you’ve seen how to efficiently manage campaigns using XMP, let's move
on to our next feature. Now that you've seen our
"Cross-Channel Campaign Management", let’s go over "Bulk Campaign Creation."
Whether you're launching a new title, expanding into a new region, or running A/B tests,
you've realistically spent hours switching between Meta, TikTok, and Google, just to build similar
campaign structures over and over again. With XMP, you can create hundreds of ads
in less than one minute, test different regions, target different audiences,
and handle creatives all at once. On top of that, XMP also supports "Auto
Ad Creation," which lets the system automatically create ads based on a pre-set template for social
platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok. Now, let’s use Meta to show you
how bulk campaign creation works. First, let’s click on "Create" in the
top right-hand side of the screen and select Meta, which will take us to the campaign creation page.
At the top, multiple ad accounts can be selected, and in this example,
we selected 2 Meta ad accounts, but you can add as many ad accounts as you need
That means the campaigns we create will go live across both accounts at the same time
The rest of the fields follow Meta's interface,
including "Campaign Objectives," "Campaign name", and "Promotion settings."
What’s different about XMP is that we can create multiple "Location Groups," "Targeting Groups",
and "Creative Groups" in one go For example, if we want to test
different regions, we can set them under different "Location Groups", such as the US
and UK for location group 1, location group 2 is set to Spain, and location group 3 is set to Italy
To test various target audiences, we just add more Targeting Groups
Such as men for Targeting Group 1 and women for Targeting Group 2
And since each region has different market conditions,
we can set custom bids and budgets for each "Location Group" in the "Bid & Budget" section
Such as one dollar for the UK and US, and two dollars for Spain and Italy, respectively.
Then we can create multiple "Creative Groups" to test different creatives,
which can also be localized based on region and tied to the specific location groups.
These "Creative Groups" were set up in advance, so let me quickly go through the process of
selecting creatives for your creative groups. When adding creatives, we can select directly
from the "XMP Creative Library", where assets are reusable across accounts and
channels. We’ll show that in more detail later. With this setup, we can quickly test combinations
of region, audience, and creative and identify the best-performing mix.
Once everything is ready, we can click on Preview at the bottom of the page, followed
by Publish to launch all campaigns at once. Now let’s take a look at "Auto Ad Create,"
which is under "Smart Assistant." This feature is currently available
for TikTok, Google, and Meta, and I’ll use Meta as the example.
We start by setting up a pre-set template, just like manual creation, selecting ad accounts,
location groups, targeting, and bid & budget. The key difference is in the "Creative Group"
section, where we can apply filter rules from a folder in the "Creative Library."
There are two common use cases, and the first one is new creative testing
Select a folder where designers will drop the new creatives
Here, you can see we have the "Auto Creative Testing" folder pre-selected.
And we have also preselected "Only use new material" to "Yes", so XMP will automatically
scan for unused creatives. If new creatives are found,
it create ads using your template setup, so you can now test new materials instantly.
Our next use case is going to be"Reusing top performers"
If you choose "No", it will reuse high-performing creatives from the folder to build ads.
Then, at the bottom, you can also see how often XMP checks the folder
Such as 3 times per week, Once set up, designers just drop creatives
inside, and ads get created automatically. It speeds up creative testing and fully
automates it within your campaign setup flow. Now that you understand our "Bulk Campaign
Creation" flow, let’s go deeper on "Creative Management and Optimization."
When it comes to ad performance, there’s one truth we all know: creatives make or break a campaign.
However, in many UA teams, creatives are still passed around via email or
messy Google Drive folders, with no way to manage, share, or easily track results.
That’s why XMP built a full creative management workflow with a cloud-based library, an advanced
tagging system, and tools for seamless collaboration and performance tracking.
I'll start with the Creative Library. Here, designers can upload all
their creatives into the Team Library. You only need to upload once, and everyone
on the team can access those creatives. Media buyers can also use them across
accounts directly when creating ads. You can also control who sees what by
setting folder visibility So only certain teams can
access specific folders if needed. Beyond that, we also support creative tagging.
You can tag creatives by elements, source, language,
and even emotional tone—whatever’s relevant. This is super useful because XMP offers
tag-level reporting, so you can actually see which creative angle is performing best
You can also assign a designer to each creative, which allows you to track performance by designer.
Once the creatives are tagged and designers are assigned,
you can go to the Promotion tab and view the Creative Report.
This report brings all your performance data together, even if the same creative was used
across different platforms and ad accounts. So instead of tracking performance separately
on different media channels, you get one overall unified view.
This is especially powerful for designers, since most of them don’t have direct access
to different ad platforms and rely on media buyers to share the data.
You can also switch the view to "Tag" to get tag-level insights, or to "Designer" to see
how each designer’s creatives are performing. All of this helps make smarter creative decisions,
iterate faster with real data, and collaborate more efficiently between
designers and media buyers. Now that you’ve seen how to
manage and measure your creatives in XMP Let’s move on to one of the most powerful and most
loved features in the platform, Auto Optimization. This is XMP’s built-in automation engine for
campaign monitoring and optimization. If you’ve ever wished you could pause
underperforming ads before they waste your budget Or automatically raise bids or budgets on
top-performing ad sets to maximize their potential Or get notified when your
account balance is running low Auto Optimization does all of that for you
